Testimonials for ETV StreamlineSC
Testimonials
“Are you familiar with StreamlineSC? It's WONDERFUL! They have a short video clip that
you could download about plants. I just downloaded it for my first grade teachers. It's a wonderful
way to introduce students to technology in the Media Center. You could turn it into a PowerPoint
and the children are sure to be excited about it. You could also tie-in a read aloud if time permits.
The site also has black line masters available.”
Melanie L. Dobson, Media Specialist, Allendale Elementary School, Allendale
“I want you to know that Streamline has been wonderful in my eighth grade science and history
classes. I use it at least three times a week. Today's students are so visual and so hooked into video.
Using the streaming videos enables me to hold their attention and help them make the connections to
the content. I'm so grateful that our state recognized the value of this service.”
Vicki Huffstetler, Ewing Middle School, Cherokee

“Mrs. O'Neal, This e-mail is in reference to unitedstreaming and the major benefit it has had on
science instruction in my classroom. I have used it with third grade for Animal Adaptations and it
was simply wonderful. The video targeted the standard exactly and the students enjoyed the footage
and narration! This is a wonderful asset to classroom instruction and integrates technology perfectly!
Thanks for all you do in the efforts of every student and teacher in Fairfield County!”

“I am a technology coach for Sumter District 2. It is my job to provide teachers with the
current technological tools that can enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. We have been
highlighting StreamlineSC in all of our schools. Teachers have been very receptive to the use of
Streamline video in their classrooms. It takes students to places they can only read about in books
and brings to life history of years past. We feel fortunate South Carolina has provided this excellent
vehicle for learning to every single school in the Palmetto State.”
“Thanks again for the great training sessions….A kindergarten teacher used the book
Chrysanthemum and her 2 ESOL students who speak no English listened to it in Spanish via
something she downloaded from StreamlineSC. She was so excited.”
Hilary Mullins, Media Specialist, Cotton Belt Elementary, York
“This program is awesome! The persons who put it together did a great thing for education! It's the
best invention for teaching!!!”

“Wow...what an amazing resource! I can't wait to get started...We're attempting (I say it thusly because my
daughter is loathe to finish any part of her ancient history studies) to wrap up Mesopotamia and I just found
a great little film that we'll love. I swear, I have a seven year old cultural anthropologist on my hands. Thank
you so much for all this incredible information! ...Oh my goodness. After browsing all the videos on Ancient
Egypt, I'm afraid my daughter may never see the light of day again. Thanks, once more.”
Julie, Home Schooler
