wedding at McLarens Landing Island Paradise.
Your wedding at McLarens Landing Island Paradise will be held at an exclusive-use,
Balinese style wedding venue on South Stradbroke Island, surrounded by State forest
whilst overlooking the Gold Coast Broadwater. McLarens Landing is accessible within 35
minutes by our luxury fast catamaran or, at a more leisurely pace on our square rigged Tall
Ship.
You can enjoy a truly unique island experience for an intimate or extravagant wedding,
with a difference. While you relax and enjoy your wedding planning, your on-site wedding
coordinator and Island Resort manager will tailor your very special day, specifically for
your needs, and will be there to attend to every detail.

We can organize a solo entertainer who will entertain to your specific needs. His music can be laid back or
full-on depending on the mood of your group & will play to any crowd from soft background music to wild
rock and roll. Larger groups may wish to select the Phoenix Fire Tribe or Polynesian Dancers to create a
special welcome for your guests followed with a 3 piece band to entertain your guests throughout the
evening.

Vessel Selection
The all-weather fleet consists of our boutique style sailing ship, the “Sir Henry
Morgan” in survey for 70 passengers. Our luxury catamaran, “MV 2000” is
available for groups over 70 guests and up to 280 guests.
Hire of our Vessels is included in the Packages
If you prefer to use the Tallship for the trip to the Island and stay at McLarens
Landing for a little extra time we can organize our luxury catamaran to bring
your party home at the end of the night for an additional $1200

Suggestion
The cruise departs from Marina Mirage/Mariner’s Cove Marina, at a time to suit (usually
before sunset). The cruise to McLarens Landing Private Resort takes approximately 90
minutes on an authentic Tall Ship or 35 minutes onboard our Luxury Catamaran.
The resort offers many wonderful and picturesque locations for wedding photos as your
guests
enjoy the ambience of the private beach for pre-dinner drinks. Move into the
Balinese Pavilion where dinner will be served, and upon completion, speeches and other
formalities conducted. Dance into the night before your return to the Gold Coast as
husband and wife.

Reception Entertainment can be arranged on the island.
We highly recommend our Island Entertainers who we know will create the perfect
atmosphere for your wedding. We are happy to arrange anything that suits your style
and ambience. Costs vary but usually
range from $500.00
Celebrant
Rick Lay from “I do Weddings” is well known to McLarens Landing, you may
arrange your own Celebrant or decide to meet with one of our own
Photographer
Photography style is wide and varied dependant on your taste and requirement, we
can introduce you to our Island photographer, who knows how to capture the very
best of your day/evening at McLarens landing, or choose your own.
Wedding Cake
Please supply your favorite wedding cake and we will arrange your cake table display

STANDARD CONDITIONS FOR WEDDINGS
Payments & Minimum Numbers
• All prices are in $AUD
• Confirmation of this booking will only be recognized upon receipt of a minimum non refundable deposit of $1000.00
• Minimum numbers for this event is 50 guests per vessel hired, full charges per person will apply to the minimum
numbers unless otherwise agreed with Tall Ship Management
• Final numbers & full payment to be received 30 days prior to your function.
• AMEX payments will attract a 4% surcharge, Visa/Mastercard will attract a 3% surcharge
• Prior to the event credit card details must be provided to cover any additional costs including outstanding bar tabs
• We reserve the right to substitute vessels & alter itineraries at short notice
Conduct of the Event

The client must conduct the event in an orderly manner & in accordance with all applicable laws
The client must ensure that all persons attending the event:
comply with all directions of the operator
do not disturb any of the marina tenants, visitors & neighbours
do not disturb any of McLarens Landing’s visitors & neighbours
do not bring beverages of any kind onto the vessel or onto “McLarens Landing”
comply with all applicable laws pertainable to the State of Queensland
The operator is entitled to remove from the vessel & “McLarens Landing” any person attending the event whose
behaviour is, in the opinion of the operator, objectionable, improper or undesirable. The cost to remove such person/s
will be at the cost of the client
The client must reimburse the operator for any costs of rectifying any damage caused to the vessel or at “McLarens
Landing” by any persons attending the event
Surcharges
A surcharge may apply for functions held on public holidays and for functions that run overtime due to the client running late
Force Majeure
•
If the operator is unable to perform any of its obligations under the agreement due in any way to Force Majeure, the
operator must be entitled to terminate this agreement and refund to the client all money paid by the client.
Breaches
• Without limiting the operator’s rights, we reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time and retain any money
paid by the client if the client commits any serious or persistent breach of any of the terms of this agreement.
Signatory
• Anyone signing this agreement on behalf of the client warrants that they have the appropriate authority to do so. If such
persons do not have sufficient authority they are personally liable for all costs that would have been payable by the client
under this agreement.
