Slime Kitchen Set-Up Cover table in paper. Write up recipes, print and slip into page protectors. Old t-shirts for aprons. Push trash cans nearby. Container of wipes & roll of paper towels. Supplies: • paper to cover table • wipes • t-shirts (aprons) • zip-loc bags (to take home) • bowls • muffin tins • pie or cake tins • spoons • water pitcher (2-3) • measuring spoons & cups • flour • borax • corn starch • white glue • Kool-aid • food coloring • glitter • glitter glue • styrofoam beads • baking soda • salt • liquid starch • baby oil • vegetable oil • cream of tartar MOON SAND 1 cup of flour 1/8 cup of baby oil Mix ingredients together in a bowl with your hands. Borax 1/3 cup warm water Stir each mixture separately in a bowl. Then mix them together. Then add the oil. If using, add the coloring to the water. Slowly add the water to the flour mixture stirring as you add. Stir until it the ingredients are all combined and the dough is sticky. Let the dough cool then remove it from the bowl. Knead the dough on the counter until it has a nice smooth consistency and is no longer sticky. In another bowl, combine glue and 1/4 cup warm water. Add food coloring. Add styrofoam beads to mixture 2, then add mixture 1.
