Shiratama-ko (Glutinous rice flour)
Sweet red bean paste
Katakuriko (Potato starch/ Cornstarch)
Wrap the strawberries with a spoonful of red bean paste and roll into a ball.
Make into 6 balls.
Place 2/3 cup of water and ¼ cup of sugar into a bowl.
Stir in in the glutinous rice flour.
Put the mixture into microwave and heat until the dough inflates.
Stir the mixture quickly to avoid any lumps.
Dust hands with some katakuri-ko. Remove the mochi and divide into 6 pieces.
Flatten the mochi and place a piece of red bean covered strawberries in the middle.
Wrap around the strawberries by stretching the mocha.
Dust the mochi with Katakuriko.
