Purposes
We are a unique organization of active,
retired, and honorably discharged U.S. Navy
Cryptologists, past and present. We:
Cryptologic Awards
U.S. NCVA presents annual awards to Active Duty
and Navy Reserve enlisted and commissioned
members for outstanding cryptologic service.
Scholarships
• Conduct a periodic reunion.
• Provide fraternal, social and recreational
activities for members and guests.
• Advocate strong and adequate U.S. Armed
Forces sufficient to maintain security interests
worldwide.
• Support efforts to preserve and strengthen the
security of capabilities of the cryptologic
agencies of the Department of Defense.
• Encourage and support preservation of the
history of cryptology by members of the
Association and appropriate Federal agencies.
CRYPTOLOG
Our quarterly publication, CRYPTOLOG, features
current and historical topics news, upcoming
events, and remembrances of shipmates now on
Eternal Patrol.
We help our communities and nation at large by
providing scholarships to students that help enable
these fine young women and men pursue their
education.
Reunions
The U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans
Association holds an annual reunion. These
gatherings are normally entirely social in
nature and terminate on the evening of the
final full-day with a dinner-dance.
In some instances, other groups—such as the Naval
Cryptologic Reserve Association and the U.S.
Submarine Veterans Association—might hold their
reunion in conjunction with ours for economies of
scale.

Cryptologic Command Display
Volunteers from the U.S. Naval Cryptologic
Veterans Association maintain and manage the
Cryptologic Command Display, a repository of
historic naval cryptologic documents, equipment,
artifacts and photographs, in Building 503 at Corry
Station in Pensacola, Florida. The display is open on
weekdays between 8:15A.M. and 3:00 P.M.
FRUPAC Net
The U.S. NCVA supports the FRUPAC amateur
radio operators net.
The prime objective of this group is to:
• Use HAM radio to locate former shipmates.
• Provide all with an organized and convenient
means of establishing and maintaining contact
with each other from the comfort of their
respective homes.
• Encourage others to pursue the avocation of
amateur radio.
