Welcome to a New Year.....
Hello/Kia ora.....
A warm welcome to all new and existing families to the Toy Library for 2014. We hope everyone has had a great start to the
New Year! It’s great seeing so many families taking advantage of our fantastic Library. This year plans to be another
successful year and the Committee will be focusing on how to improve our Toy Library even more!
Rosters & Duty.....
Are You Expecting?
Please turn up when you are rostered on duty at
9.45am. Part of duty is to set-up the hall with the
larger toys before the session starts. Turning up for your
duty on time ensures the smooth running of sessions
and also means you are meeting the commitment you
agreed to when signing up!
If so, please let Prue Frost know your due
date, so you are not rostered on duty
around that time. Same applies if you are
having surgery. All other Library members
have an obligation to fulfill their duty when
rostered on and if you can’t do so then it is
your responsiblity to arrange the swap
with another library member.

Interested in meeting new people?......
Ever considered becoming a Committee Member?
As with most non-profit organisations, the Mornington
Toy Library is run by a Committee of volunteers with
meetings held every 6 weeks. If you are interested in
joining a fun group of parents and being actively
involved in the running of the Toy Library then please
don’t be shy.....come and see the duty Committee
member that is on every Saturday!
Bring your spare change along to bag a bargain! The sale
will include toys that have been replaced, have too many
missing pieces or not hired enough. You won’t want to
miss this!

We have a fantastic new range of toys on our shelves! Thanks to some great profit from our truffle fundraiser and a special
thanks to the New Zealand Lottery Grant Board for their contribution there is more variety than ever!
