JACKIE
PMAC Music Therapy Student with Music Therapist Virginia Macdonald
“Music and laughter are celebrations of the joys and sorrows of life. My classes with Ginna
are fun, deep, loud, and passionate – times two! I hear and feel myself laugh; I hear and
feel the music: I’m healing. It’s more than learning to play the piano; it’s about connecting
with music daily in a myriad of ways, and I find myself thinking about the enhancements
PMAC has instilled into my life every single day. I’m profoundly grateful for the sense of
belonging and confidence PMAC gives me. It’s a warm, friendly, compassionate, safe, fun
place, and I’m so glad I challenged myself to become a student.”

MIKE DAILEY
PMAC Board President Elect, Student and Parent
“I’m proudly part of a four-generation percussionist family, and I love drumming.
My grandfather played in the Big Bands era. While I grew up playing Rock,
PMAC let me learn the joys of Big Band & Jazz drums. My son, Ian, is miles
ahead of where I was at his age...and that’s because of Mike Walsh and PMAC.
Why am I involved? When something touches your soul, you hold onto it; nurture it;
do everything you can to share it with the world. PMAC is that place for me.”
