The Clinic stresses a holistic approach that includes a comprehensive range of on-site services, from clinical treatment to nutrition and psychotherapy. The PACE Clinic helps patients to cope with the real-life challenges of dealing with the disease through: • Helping patients to successfully follow intricate medications regimens • Providing women and their children access to medical care at the same doctor’s visit • Ensuring appropriate medical treatment to prevent or delay the progression of diseases that result from HIV infection • Extending services to South County to enhance access The PACE Clinic will use funds raised to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS with a special prevention and outreach effort in 2012. The PACE Clinic relies on government funding and grants that must be used for critical client services, leaving little extra money for education. As an article in the San Jose Mercury News recently pointed out, prevention and outreach are critical in Santa Clara County. My fabulous Dr. Brooks... All I can say would not be enough. I never met a doctor I really liked or trusted- until I found Dr. Brooks. I feel safe and cared for. I trust him, I actually love him. I know he does whatever is necessary to keep me well. He is an amazing man.
