Annual Report 2014 - Pace Community Action Agency, Inc.
2014 Annual Report WIC‘s 40th Anniversary (Women, Infant & Children) This year we celebrated 40 years of teaching families about food & nutrition. An Act of Kindness Pace employees gave cards out when they completed a thoughtful gesture for anyone throughout the community. 2014 has been an astonishing year - celebrating 50 years of Community Action and observing WIC’s 40th year of providing nutrition support to families. It is a true blessing to have changed so many lives for so many years. As celebrations continue, we enter 2015 recognizing 50 years of Head Start and 50 years of Pace! We are proud of receiving an excellent Federal Review for our Health Connection clinics, the Energy Assistance and Weatherization Program, and no findings in our Agency Annual Audit! Technology is one of our main strengths: Head Start implemented a new database, our fiscal department is storing information in the cloud, and we added new virtual servers. The 2nd annual Golf Scramble was a great success in support of our internship program. The credit for all of our achievements goes to the Board, staff, and other community supporters. Together – we do great things! Our saying…#PACE ROCKS!! Dr. Bertha A.
