KEDRON DELLS GOLF CLUB – ALCOHOL POLICY 1. KDGC is fully licensed with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to serve alcohol in the Clubhouse & Patio and on the golf course via the Hospitality Wagon. 2. Golfers are specifically cautioned not to bring alcoholic beverages onto the golf course premises, as this is a direct violation of the AGCO permit held by the club. 3. Golfers in possession of alcohol by means other than through KDGC Servers will not be tolerated and will lead to expulsion from the Golf Course. 4. KDGC Alcohol Policy will be strictly enforced by KDGC Starters, Marshals, Servers and Staff. 5. KDGC reserves the right to inspect all coolers and golf bags. Golfers should return to the Clubhouse when they feel endangered by lightning. How to Calculate your distance from Lightning Question: When the Interval between seeing lightning and hearing thunder is 12 seconds how far away is the lightning? Answer: To estimate your distance from a thunder storm count the number of seconds between a flash of lightning and the next clap of thunder. Divide your answer by 5 (for km’s divide by 3). 12/5 = about 2.5 miles away 12/3 = about 4 Kilometres away KEDRON DELLS LOCAL RULES • TREES - All staked trees or trees shorter than one club length in height considered a free drop, move two club lengths no closer to the hole (no penalty). • ALL ROADWAYS/PARKING LOT- Out of Bounds • RAIL FENCES -If ball is lying in the hazard – No Relief. If ball is outside the hazard stakes, land stance or swing is restricted by the fence, ball may be lifted and dropped one club length from the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole • (no penalty). POWER LINES, POLES AND TRANSFORMER (10TH) If ball is deflected or stopped by any of the above, the stroke may be replayed if desired (no penalty). The Targeted playing time is 4 hours 15 minutes. The Marshal has the authority to keep play moving at the proper pace for the enjoyment of all players.
