Rules of Play: Four golfers make up each scramble team. Each team will tee off at a different starting hole on the course and play an 18-hole round. RULE 1: Remember first and foremost to have fun! RULE 2: Every player hits a ball on every shot. If your team has only three players, one teammate may hit twice. Alternate who hits twice. If your team has less than three players then you should be playing tennis. RULE 3: Place ball within one club length of the best shot, no closer to the hole. Win $20,000 in the PUTT-FOR-CASH Contest Rules: Team Skins: $20 per team YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED GOLFER AND HAVE PURCHASED CHANCES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT. st 1 Round Qualifying: All players that make a 20 foot putt (regardless of how many chances were purchased) automatically advance to the 2nd round. nd 2 Round Eliminator: A 20 foot putt-off where only ONE golfer will advance to the FINAL. Final 50 foot PUTT FOR CASH for $20,000 Should there not be a 20 foot putt made in the 1st or 2nd rounds all golfers with paid chances will have their names put into a hat and ONE name will be drawn. This person will then be the finalist who tries for the 50 foot putt for $20,000. A PUTT is defined as a STROKE by USGA Rules of Golf taken by an officially pre-registered and pre-qualified event participant. No practice putts, mulligans or substituted putts for other participants are permitted. A Hole-In-One putt must be HOLED as defined by the USGA Rules of Golf. Once the ball has passed the cup it is considered ineligible. Half the pot goes to St. Wenceslaus School; Half the pot gets split between any skins on the 18 holes. THE $20,000 CASH PRIZE IS SPLIT AS FOLLOWS: RULE 4: One drive of each team member must be used during the round. Steering the cart does not count. RULE 5: Keep play moving at a smooth pace. Please DO NOT spend time hunting for a lost ball. Clear the green areas as soon as the hole is completed . . . or remain there as a target for the next group. Beverages: Each golfer will be given ONE beverage ticket at registration that can be redeemed for one bottled beverage or tap beer. Available at the Clubhouse: Mulligans: $5 per player Mulligans may be used on any shot (drive, chip, putt, etc.) No player may use more than 1 mulligan per round. ‘Gimme’ String: $3 per yard Each player can purchase string for $3 per yard -- no limit. If ball is within string’s length of the hole the ball is in - no stroke. May be used once during the round. String as many 1 yard lengths together as needed to complete the hole. · · $10,000 to the winner $10,000 donated to St. Wenceslaus School Closest to the Gin $5 Be the closest to the Gin on Hole #12 and win the bottle. On Course: “Your Stroke Is Forgiven” - Fr. Kevin: $10 per team Hit Santa $10 for 3 or $20 for 7 Roll the three dice. Whatever number is rolled you reduce your score by one stroke on that hole. Mark your actual score on your card. The stroke will be Hit Santa on Hole #16 and have your name put in a drawing for a percentage of the pot. deducted at the clubhouse by the official scorer.
