Indians Hills has proudly provided

California area. Indian Hills Golf

championship golf course open to

in 1965, this Harold Heers and
Jimmy Powell golf course has long
been considered one of Southern
California’s best public golf courses.

U.S.G.A. Rules Govern All Play,
except for the following & posted Local Rules
1. Anywhere “through the green” a ball which is embedded in its own pitch
mark may be lifted, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to the spot
where it lay, but not nearer the hole.
2. A ball that crosses a street and comes to rest in bounds on a different hole on the
golf course is deemed to be out of bounds.
3. Surface drainage ditches on holes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 18. If a ball comes to
rest within, or the ditch interferes with player’s stance or swing, take nearest point
of relief and one club length no nearer the hole.
4. If a staked tree interferes with a player’s stance or swing, proceed under
Rule 24-2b (immovable obstruction); take the nearest point of relief and one club
length, no nearer the hole.
5. The railroad ties in the bunker of #9 are considered an integral part of the golf
course. No relief. All other railroads ties bordering the cart paths are immovable
obstructions. Take nearest point of relief and one club length, no nearer the hole.
6. A fence which is not a perimeter fence, shall be played as an immovable
obstruction. Take nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. All streets are out of
bounds.
Errant golf balls that result in personal injury or property damage
are the golfer’s responsibility
