to the public, is played at a
length of 6,131 yards from the
white tees. This beautifully
renovated course is extremely
playable. With interesting,
yet challenging shot values,
the Lakes features two of the
most exciting par 3’s in town!
The 13th is an attractive 187
yards with a pond in the front.
For a challenging test, take a
swing from the 237 yard, blue
tees. The 16th is the Lake’s
signature hole. This thrilling
island green at 147 yards,
200 from the blue tees, will
test your skills while adding
excitement to your game. We
even have an island tee box
on hole #11.

Local Rules
• Abnormal Ground Conditions: Is any casual water, ground under repair or run
away through the green, made by a burrowing animal, reptile or bird. Ground under
repair is any construction area that has new sod or seeded and any damage caused by
mainentenance vehicles or golf carts. Ground under repair is marked with white lines.
• Out of Bounds: Defined by properly line fencing, white stakes, retaining wall, inside
edge of Practice Range poles.
• Cart Paths & Roads: All cart paths and roads are deemed to be Immovable
Obstructions. Rule 24-2.
• Concrete Drainage Ditches: Are deemed to be Immovable Obstructions. Rule 24.
• Rest rooms and Port a Johns: Are deemed to be Immovable Obstructions, “No line of
play relief”, Rule 24.
• Plant Beds: Ornamental and Flower Beds: Play is prohibited! Relief: Played as ground
under repair. Rule 25
• Embedded Ball: A ball embedded in its own pitch mark, through the green, maybe
lifted cleaned and dropped as near as possible to the spot where it became embedded.
• Tree Wells: Ground under trees artistically altered (depression or embalmment) for
irrigation purposes are played as ground under repair. Rule 25
• Fallen or Cut Trees: Tree limbs, not growing or attached are considered as ground
under repair. Rule 25
• Stalked Trees: Newly planted trees that are supported by stalls are deemed to be
immovable obstructions. Rule 24-2A and 2B.
• Storm Damages: Through the green accumulated debris, mud/soil, wash outs,
damaged turf and associated repair work, materials and equipment are deem to be
ground under repair or obstructions as appropriate.

If you hit a draw on the
drive, it can drift to the left
due to the slope. Use a
straight shot, a power fade,
or a slight left to right on
the drive. Second shot will
punish the player who hits it
too far right. Green is wide
open in most cases and will
favor the confident player.
This beautifully framed Par 3 is
essentially, “what you see is
what you get!” according to the
club pro. Hit a good shot and
the reward could be birdie. An
errant tee shot will either hit
the tree on the left, or stray
towards a downhill lie. Hit it too
far right will relegate you to
the sand or out of bounds.
