Human Sculpturez A Performance Artwork: Bridges Ballroom
Presenters: Gerry Whitbeck & Company
Human Sculpture is an exercise in human endurance. For creator Gerry Whitbeck, the puppeteer
who guides his "flyers"" like marionettes in bondage, the piece is an exhlbition of control. The
tension builds throughout the performance while the audience is bathed in a gut-wrenching but
strangely harmonic and rhythmic soundtrack of industrial noise and tribal drumming. ln the
show's finale Gerry doubles as a performer who is tangibly in control even while he is pierced
with 8-gauge fishing hooks and suspended above the stage.
NOTE: this pefformance will extend into the lunch period and reach it's climax during lunch.

Massage has two roles in the SM scene: First, EVERY bottom should know the techniques to
bring pleasurable relief to a Top's sore body, usually overworked in bring pleasure to the
bottom!. Second: A deep tissue massage can combine the very best of pain and pleasure as a
scene in itselfl This will be a HANDS ON workshop, limited to 32 participants who will work on
each other in pairs. So grab a partner and come early, or be ready to pair off with another

erotica. This slide presentation will use European and North American photos from the Kinsey

Bill Costomiris was a founding member of the Tarheel Lather Club and a driving force in the 1990 Beat Jessie campaign. He recei\€d
the Leather Joumal's Man of tñe year anard at the first Pantheon of Leather in 1991 . He has been a member of the NLA Executl\ê
Council for sereral years and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Leather Archircs and Museum, and as Recording

Meet the Author/Artist
Leather/SM/fetish men and women who have authored and/or compiled books and other publication, of
interest to the community will be available at tables in the Main Lobby of the Conference center to
autograph their work and meet with their fans. Many t¡tles will be available for purchase at the Alamo
Square booth in the vendors area. However, feel free to bring in your own copies of their works for
signings. The tentative schedule of signers is given below Please check the posted listings for changes
and update. lf are a published author, artist, photographer and would like to be included in the signing
schedule contact Mark Friedman at the Alamo Square booth, or Tony DeBlase, probably best found with
a cigar on the smoking deck.
