TIPS for managing multiple infants from the

ORGANIZATION
• 12-16 bottles with variety of nipples,
styles & flows
• 3-position feeding booster chairs
• bassinets
• boppy pillows
• bouncy / infant-to-toddler chairs
• burp clothes, bibs and sleepers
(can never have too many)
• diapers and wipes (can never have
too many)
• double snap n’ go or duoglider
stroller or triple stroller
• dual breast pump
• exersaucers
• swings
• double blessings inflatable
nursing pillow
• pack n' play
• Pampered Chef Quick Stir Pitcher
or blender (to mix formula)
• Color-code bottles, pacifiers & cups
• Keep a log of: when they ate, how
much, if they had a BM or wet,
include any medicines
• Keep in the car: diaper bag stocked
with diapers, wipes, creams, bibs, etc.
• Keep babies on the same schedule
for sleeping & feeding, when possible
• Accept help! Pay if you need too!
• Keep a full supply (day's worth) of
bottles in the fridge

Minutes for October 4, 2006

1. Welcome: Introductions and sign in. In attendance- Kelly
C., Tracie G., Christine C., Katie D., Heather H., Melanie
Y., Penny M., Lori M., Monica F., Donna R., Margaret S.,
Jacqueline D.
Adult Holiday Party: Penny & Lori
Penny has looked into having the party at Santorini's Restaurant. Most people responded via an on-line poll that after
the Holidays would be best. The first weekend in January is
a possibility. Lori and Penny will look into additional restaurants to have the party. More information to follow.
7. Make and Take Gourmet Fundraiser is ongoing. Flyers are
available. Mention "Multiple Moms" when registering by
phone or online in the notes section for the club to receive
10% of the sales.
2. Ice breaker: Great game—"Mommy's Purse" Points were
awarded to those members who had the most items called
off by Kelly ie: pic of babies, diapers, wipes, nursing pads
etc. Penny was the big winner with 4 items. Christine and
Katie tied for second place with three items. All women won
scratch off lottery tickets.
2. Treasurer's Report: (Penny)
As of today, we have 30 paid members. Make and Take
Gourmet submitted a check to Penny for $227. This amount
is 10% of all meal packages purchased from customers that
mentioned MMM. Please continue to do so if you attend a
Make and Take party….MMM sponsored or not….and we
will receive this 10% contribution to the club.
3. Letters or communications: (Corresponding SecretaryElva) Elva sent 5 postcards out to new moms of multiples
that posted their birth announcements in the newspaper.
She sent a thank you note to Mike Coomes for the financial
planning session.
4. Executive Board- Last board meeting was September
22nd. By-laws available. By-laws are posted on-line under
"files". Next board meeting will be Friday, December 1,
2006 at 7pm at Kelly's house.
5. Committee Reports:
Membership–Mary put together a GREAT directory!!!! Check
it out on our web site! Please e-mail Mary any additions or
changes plus photos if you would like to add one.
Playgroup: Monica – Continue to sign up. October 12th and
October 19th are now open. You may change days or times
if you need to. Contact Monica with any questions if you'd
like to host a date.
Librarian: Sharon- There are many items in the MMM library.
Christmas Family: Kelly- A family has expressed interest in
becoming our Christmas Family. They have requested to
remain anonymous. Kelly will continue to communicate with
the family and will find out their specific needs. As more
information is received we will ask for volunteers to donate
items for this family.
Newsletter: Donna put together a GREAT newsletter!!! See
the on-line web site for the premier issue. Please contact
Donna if you would like to include information for the next
issue.
6. Programs/Events:
Wine tour (Christine)- There has been some interest in
going on a wine tour as a group…with Limo…either with
our spouses…or just the Mom's. The month of November
was discussed as a possibility. Christine will add a poll to
our website to see if there is interest and when a good time
might be for all.
My Gym- MMM playdate Monday, November 13th from
4:30-5:30pm, Clay. Across from Great Northern Mall behind
Pier One.
Yeah Baby Expo- Saturday, October 14th from 10am-6pm
at Oncenter.
If you attend please remember to hand out our club cards
to Mom's/expectant Mom's of Multiples. Also…if you have
a MMM T-Shirt
wear it that day!!!
Zoo Boo- Saturday, October 21st from 6:00-8:30pm Tickets
are $2.50. Pay by Friday. Include a SASE and your tickets will
be mailed to you. You can send a check to Kelly Carter .
Polar Express- 4:30pm Saturday, December 16, 2006 out
8. MMM T-shirts- 2 adult small shirts, and 1 XL are still available for $10 each.

10. Publicity- Information about the club was sent to Dr. Ryu,
Dr. Kiltz, Pediatric Associates in Liverpool, Pediatric Associates in Camillus, WIC Program, Crouse Hospitals NICU and
Crouse Hospitals Multiple Birth Class.
11. Announcements:
Trick or Treating at Malls throughout the area on October
31st. Check the on-line web site for a final decision as to the
chosen mall.
Lori told the group about the 2nd annual LUKIE'S
Jammin' "Fun"raiser. This is a benefit in memory of Luke
Frechette who lost his battle with pediatric cancer in 2002
at the age of 4. This Funraiser takes place on November
11th at 11:00 am at CBA school on Randall Road in Dewitt.
Entertainment will be a live musical
performance and puppet show by Tamar Frieden and Tom
Knight. Contact Tracy Holmes at 329-0267 if you would like
tickets. $10 for adults $8 for children 1-12. Lori and her family are planning to attend. Please join them!
