In 1911 editor Arthur Brisbane said “Use a picture, it’s worth a thousand word.” eventually this phrased morphed into the adage “A picture is worth a thousand words.” This
month we will see if this still holds true.

Arizona H.O.G. Rally—Yuma: Fat Don Editor
My wife and I attended the Rally Oct 24th thru 26th mainly because we had only been to
Yuma once for an air show; were interested in seeing what else the city had to offer and
how the rally would highlight Yuma.
We visited the territorial prison and the Quartermaster Depot, took the ride to Julian CA
for pie (325 miles round trip is along way to go for pie), met some folks from the H-D
corporate offices in Milwaukee, attended the concert by Mogollon, strolled main street to
see what vendors were there, had dinner with other Anthem Chapter attendees, went to
the bike games and found a really good restaurant 2 blocks from the Best Western. All
in all not a bad 3 days in Yuma.
