Acadian Ambulance Service is committed to providing the best pre-hospital emergency medical care. Our Nationally
Registered EMTs and Paramedics are required to complete continuing education courses to stay current on the latest
medical procedures, medications and clinical protocols. Our solid base of experience in responding to mass casualty
incidents helps us overcome the critical challenges such disasters pose. We also provide non-emergency medical
transportation in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.

Acadian Air Med Services uses helicopter and fixed-wing air ambulances to answer emergency calls from locations difficult
or impossible to access by ground ambulances. Today, we operate eight medically-configured helicopter ambulances**
strategically based throughout our service area. Three of our fixed-wing aircraft can by medically-configured for extended
transports across the continental United States.

One Gulf is a department within the Air Med division which specializes in responding to emergency calls from the offshore
industry. A dedicated Call Center is staffed 24/7 with an aero-medical dispatcher/paramedic who coordinates all requests
for help and directs the rescue accordingly.

National EMS Academy (NEMSA) is a partnership between Acadian Ambulance Service, South Louisiana Community
College and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service with the primary objective of providing the education and
training necessary for individuals seeking to enter the emergency medical services industry. Founded in 2003, NEMSA
utilizes nine sites to serve students in both Louisiana and Texas. Since its inception, NEMSA has received many accolades
for its innovative use of technology and resources to train both new and existing medics. Video conferencing, realistic
emergency simulations, and case-based teaching contribute to its success.
