Sekai no Hate Made Itte-Q
Adventure variety program that travels to the ends of the Earth to discover
answers to the simple questions of children, solving mysteries with laughter. The
program touches on natural science explanations, the exploration of inaccessible
regions and interactions with people and cultures around the world.

Shojo blew a breath of fresh air into the
anime world, is about a large family
living in Nagano that stands up against
a global computer crisis. The characters
were designed by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto,
who created Evangelion.
24-Hour Television
Live, 24-hour charity program that broadcasts each year in August. In recent
years, the program has raised approximately ¥1 billion per year, totalling
¥27.5 billion over the past 32 years. The most popular segment is the
24-hour, 100 km charity marathon involving popular TV personalities.

Hakone Ekiden
Intercollegiate long distance relay race held each year during New Year’s,
which will be broadcast for the 68th time in 2010.
The Ekiden, which is run over a 217.9 km course divided into 10 sections that
begins in Tokyo and ends in Hakone, is a perennial New Year’s favorite with an
established audience that represents a ratings share of nearly 30% each year.

Talk show hosted by three units of talented performers
(seven people in total).
Featuring edgy conversations with a wide range of
guests, this program achieved the top position in its
time slot, which is broadcast opposite the top rated
program of our rival station.

On air for over 40 years, this is one of Japanese television’s
representative programs.
Still earning a ratings share of over 20%, the most
popular segment on the program is Oogiri, where the host
provides the rakugo performers with subjects to illicit
