The Austin-Healey Track and Race-day at the Third European
Healey Meeting in Sweden 2008
Dear Austin-Healey enthusiast and race driver!
It is our great pleasure to invite you and your car to participate in the Austin-Healey race at Falkenberg
Racing Circuit in Sweden on Thursday 31st of July 2008.
The race day will include three classes. Below you can see which classes will be run and their
classification.
Class 1. Big Healeys – 100/4, 100/6 and 3000 cars complying with Appendix K class E and F
specification. Cars will compete in the same race but in separate classes. Cars of Class E must run on
5.50L section Dunlop Racing and 4.5” rims. Cars competing in Class F may run 5.50M section and 6”
period wheels.
Class 2. Austin-Healey Sprites – All Austin-Healey Sprites. Cars complying with Appendix K
class E and F specification. Cars complying with British Healey race championship regulation for
Sprites. Cars will compete in same race but separate classes.
Class 3. Vintage show – All Healey cars of an historical nature such as ex-works cars, 100S,
Warwick Healeys etc. This will not be a race but a fast show. Full consideration will be given to a cars
historical and financial significance.

The circuit – Falkenbergs Motorbana
The circuit is situated in the south-western part of Sweden approx 1 hour from Gothenburg and 2
hours from Malmoe/Copenhagen.
Falkenbergs Motorbana measures 1.1 miles/1.8 kilometres and includes one chicane after the straight
and then fast and flat corners. The straight is short but relatively fast and down hill.
Maximum number of cars is 29.
Maximum noise level is 95 decibel.

Registration
All competitors registering before May 30th are guaranteed a place on the grid. Registrations coming
after the 30th cannot be guaranteed entry to the event.
General Information
The paddock opens for competitors at 4 pm on Wednesday 30th of July and closes noon on Friday 1st
of August by when all cars must have departed.
The paddock area will be guarded from 30th July – 1st of August.
Hospitality will be provided during the day. Lunch will be served for driver and the mechanics/team
members (2 per entrant).
Price Giving with dinner
The Prize Giving will be held on Thursday evening at Hotel Tylösand, followed by a buffet dinner
including wine or beer. Dinner for one person is included in the entry fee.
Accommodation
We are pleased to offer all competitors accommodation at, or nearby, the official Third European
Healey Meeting hotel. Both single and double rooms are available. Please find more information on
the registration sheet enclosed with this document (maximum 3 persons per team).

Austin-Healey club of Sweden is proud to present an invitation from Copenhagen Classic Grand Prix
for a Big Healey race at this great event. On your way home from Third European Healey Meeting you
can compete in this exciting event racing around the streets in Copenhagen!
Copenhagen Classic Grand Prix starts on Saturday 2nd of August with practice and races and finishes
Sunday evening 3rd of August.
All Classes (1-3) are invited. Class 1 will be a separate heat and class 2 and 3 will compete in any
other appropriate class/s within the event.
CHGP-organisation will support us with great hotel offers, our own paddock etc. All information will
come in their confirmation of your registration.
