Class of 2010
Clothing... Wear colors and clothing that best
compliment your personality and style!
Generally, long sleeved shirts and sweaters
work better than short sleeves. Avoid large
prints or patterns that distract from your face.
Hair... Do your hair in a style you’re
comfortable with (not a
good time to try out a
new ‘do). Schedule your
hair cut two weeks prior
to your session.
Glasses... If you wear glasses, wear them for your
portrait, but have the lenses removed by your
optometrist or borrow a pair of empty frames.
For Gals... Keep your makeup natural and fresh –
lip color or gloss is a must! Bring your makeup and
hair spray along for quick touch-ups.
For Guys... A fresh shave is a
must! If you have a beard or
mustache, make sure it’s neatly
trimmed. Please note, gel on dark
hair will cause a high reflection on
the ends of your hair.

Like we’ve said, your Senior Portrait Session really is a BIG
DEAL. So, we’ve come up with something to help you make
the most of your Senior Session. Here it is, direct from
Great Photos! Senior Studios:
TOP 10 LIST
Enhancing Your Senior Portrait Experience
1. Get a Good Nights Sleep. You can only look as good as
you feel. So do yourself a favor and make sure to get
enough Zzzz’s the night before your session. And don’t
forget to get your hair trimmed a week or two before
your session. While it’s true that beauty comes from
within, a good haircut and a fresh face sure do help.
2. Communication is Key. If you’ve seen something you like,
tell us about it. If you’ve seen something you hate, tell us
about it. We want your Senior Portraits to be a reflection
of who You are - so tell us about You!
3. Wear clothes you Really LOVE. Chances are, if you love
the outfit it looks great on you! Don’t worry - we’ll help
you choose the perfect background and poses. We
don’t recommend white, or lighter colored clothing for
outdoor portraits.
4. Include High School Memorabilia - things like letter
jackets, uniforms, trophies, and band instruments bring
personality to your pictures.
5. Pick a “Portrait Session EXTRA”. For MAXIMUM Variety,
add an “EXTRA” to your Senior Session. Look at page 5 for
details on City-Scapes, Buddy Shots, Cars, Trucks, Bikes
and Boats.
6. Don’t forget the Dog. If you’d like to include your Pet, just
let us know about it ahead of time, so we can fill you in on
some of the details.
7. Showcase an Activity or Hobby - snowboarding, skiing, golfing,
skating and other stuff you do for fun. Equipment, uniforms,
and sports gear are very photogenic. Again, just bounce it off
of us first so we’ll be prepared.
8. Bring a Best Friend. Who else will make sure that every last
eyelash is in place and no expression even comes close to
the dreaded fake smile. By the way, we believe Mom makes
a perfect “best friend” and we’re not just saying that
because she might help pay for the pictures.
9. Bring your favorite CDs. We won’t promise that our stereo
system is as tweaked-out as yours, or that our
photographers can sing along with all the lyrics. But, we
will promise that we’ll play your favorite music.
10. Don’t Worry - Be Happy! The “secret” to a successful
session is simply to relax, have
fun and be yourself. Let us
worry about the details.

order when an order is placed within 60 days;
deposit is not redeemable after 60 days.
