In conjunction with our installation of Yousuf Karsh: Regarding Heroes, Glenbow is inviting
friends and supporters to sponsor one of these masterful portraits with an investment of $1000.
Upon viewing this stunning collection, you will undoubtedly experience a sense of connection
to one or more of the portraits. There may be someone with whom you have engaged
personally, someone whose contributions to the world have been especially meaningful to you,
or someone whom you regard as a hero. Glenbow’s unique initiative provides you with the
opportunity to sponsor the portrait that stands out to you the most. As you view these works,
we invite you to consider which portrait you would like to sponsor.
Glenbow is pleased to be hosting a private reception for all portrait sponsors at Glenbow on
April 19, during which The Hon. Peter Lougheed and Mrs. Jeanne Lougheed will share their
thoughts and recollections about their friendship with Yousuf and Estrellita Karsh. Portrait
sponsors will also receive a tax receipt for $850 and a matted reproduction of their chosen
portrait.
