Electric Guitar Audition Material
All guitar players must choose two of the following songs to learn. Please learn as much
of each song as possible, including the solos. Note: you will not necessarily play these songs
with your band during camp; they are for audition purposes only.
*** If a student wants to play two things at camp, they need to audition on both. For example, if
a guitarist or bassist wants to also sing, they should perform both simultaneously for their
audition. If they are willing to play either guitar or bass at camp, they should audition on both.
Please use the tabs provided to learn the songs; do not find your own on the internet or from a
book. Some sources are often incorrect, and this way we know each student is learning from the
same correct source.
If you play acoustic guitar and don’t own an electric guitar, you may audition on your acoustic.
During Rock Camp, we will provide an electric guitar for you to use during the week.
