“I have watched the VBT program develop through the years from the
point of view of being a student and now the Chairperson of The Visual
Broadcasting and Technology Occupational Advisory Committee. The VBT
program keeps growing each year while preparing students for industry jobs or
preparing students to continue their education. It has been very rewarding to
watch the program grow. It’s our goal for current students to have the job skills
necessary to succeed in today’s workplace.”

“I was always interested in video technology and the CTC offered a
program that I thought was perfect for me and it was. The equipment is state of
the art and the teachers are all experts in their field. Many of the CTC teachers,
come from industry. The CTC trained me to be a media professional with skills I
still use in the work place every day.”

“While at the CTC, I learned many aspects of Visual Broadcast
Technology. More importantly, I learned time management, the importance of a
good work ethic and the ability to problem solve. The CTC provided me with a
wide array of technic logical skills focusing on Drone and GOPRO Technologies.
After leaving the CTC, I decided to enlist in the Pennsylvania National Guard. I
am currently training to repair Apache Helicopters. The CTC taught me that the
sky is the limit and to follow my dreams. I am! Maybe one day, I will fly the
Apache. Thanks CTC!”

“I want to use my skills learned at the CTC as a Freelance Photographer.
Freelance Photography will give me a chance to generate income while going for
my Bachelor’s Degree. I’ve always been interested in money and numbers, so I
decided to further my education in Accounting. The knowledge and problem
solving skills I learned at the CTC gave me the foundation to succeed at any
occupation that may come my way in the future.”
