Sock Blank Dyeing– Tuesday September 29th, 9:30 – noon
A sock blank is a piece of knitted fabric that you can dye and then unravel to knit a pair
of socks (or anything else that requires sock weight/4ply yarn). When you knit up a
sock blank holding two strands of yarn and then dye it, you can create perfectly
matched socks if you knit them up two at a time. In this class, we provide the already
knitted undyed sock blank – you have fun dyeing it! Different patterns and stripes on
the sock blank create different effects on the socks.
