Camp Features
During the first practice, each player will
be evaluated. All players will be assigned a
veteran coaching staff with approximately
a 10:1 ratio to ensure individual and team
instruction on both offense and defense.
The coaching staff will thoroughly train
and prepare each player during the entire
camp to be a better, more confident
football player! Parents and relatives are
encouraged to attend the final practice
and awards ceremony. During the camp
members of the Cowboys will teach the
same offensive and defensive techniques
that they are taught by the best coaches
in the NFL!
Our goal is to give each camper the
finest football instruction available
and a program they will never forget!
There will be individual instruction
for quarterbacks, running backs,
centers, linemen, defensive ends,
wide receivers, linebackers, special
teams, and secondary! Once you have
enrolled, more detailed information will
be mailed to you regarding what to bring,
arrival time, etc.

utographs! This is not an “autograph camp” just a great football camp! But if
•A
you want autographs while you are at camp, Jay Novacek and/or members of the Dallas
Cowboys will be available for autographs during the entire camp. We will suggest holding
an organized autograph session when Dallas Cowboys are in camp and they have
always been very cooperative. If a player is unavailable for autographs, we should
respect their wishes and appreciate the NFL player attending and instructing at
the camp. We cannot guarantee a camper will receive every player’s autograph
because each player’s schedule is unique.
The following comments were made by coaches who sent players to camp or were
involved with camp last summer.
TROY AIKMAN, QUARTERBACK, DALLAS COWBOYS — Jay, thanks for inviting
me to be an instructor at your camp. I am delighted to be a part of one of the finest
instructional football camps available today! The difference you have made in the
lives of these young men on and off the field will last a lifetime.
DARYL JOHNSTON, FULL BACK, DALLAS COWBOYS – The players that attend
Jay’s camp gain an incredible edge on their opponents! I highly recommend it for a
player trying to improve their game! The JNFC is football in the purest sense!
Coach Mark Copeland, Texas A & M University, Commerce, TX – The Jay Novacek
Camp is a great camp from top to bottom! Jay and his staff has a real attention to
every detail in the camp.
Coach Ken Carter, North Forrest High School, Hattiesburg, MS – The Jay
Novacek Camp has got to be the most outstanding football camp in the country! The
athletes not only learn the game of football from the best coaches in the USA, they
also learn about life, school and countless other valuable tools that will help them as
they mature as student athletes.
Coach Roland Rodriguez, Trinity University, San Antonio, TX – As a coach, I
appreciate the camp’s emphasis on the fundamentals of the game. Jay’s camp is the
best routine of any camp I have seen. The camper’s have fun while they learn the
great game of football. The camp is a great camp!
Coach Thomas Keel, Sherman High School, Sherman, TX – Jay’s camp is a super
camp with a very positive atmosphere. The program is a great experience for both
coaches and campers. The campers really enjoy it and they learn a lot of football!
Coach Brian J. Mayper, Howard Payne University, Brownwood, TX – Jay’s camp is
a great experience and opportunity for not only the players that attend, but also for
the coaches that coach them. I still have several high school players from camp stop
by to ask me questions. The camp provides a high school player the opportunity to
be coached by several of the finest college coaches in football.
Coach Joe Romero, Texas Lutheran University, Seguin, TX – The Jay Novacek
Football Camp is an excellent opportunity for young athletes to further their football
skills under the guidance of the Dallas Cowboys, Jay Novacek, and the outstanding
college and high school coaches that work the camp.
Scott McWilliams, Dumas, TX – The camp is the best camp Chris has attended!
Jay spends everyday with the athletes and the memories my son has from the camp
are unbelievable! The players that attend Jay’s camp gain an incredible edge on their
opponents because the coaching staff is outstanding!

Properly Matching Up Players In Camp
“TOP 30” CLUB
(High School Players Only Ages 15-18)
The “TOP 30” CLUB is an exclusive club made up of approximately 30 (this number could be more or
fewer) of the top high school players in each camp. These players will be selected throughout the camp by
the Jay Novacek college coaches that coach the high school athletes. (The entire coaching staff for high
school age players is made up of college coaches.) A detailed information packet on each member
of the “TOP 30” CLUB will be sent to over 1500 college football coaches to help each player
receive recognition at the college level. This unique service is very respected by the college coaches.
It has enabled hundreds of players to continue their football career and several have received scholarships.
The goal of the Jay Novacek Football Camps is to see that every high school age player receives intense
instruction and top competition throughout the camp under the watchful eye of top college coaches from
throughout the USA. If you would like to play at the college level, this will be an excellent opportunity to
receive the best instruction available and be seen by an outstanding lineup of college coaches.
Jay Novacek Combine Test
The Jay Novacek Combine Test will be offered to all players ages 13-18. The test will grade players for
speed, quickness and strength. The evaluation is similar to that of the NFL scouting combine, but is scaled
down for the high school athlete. Test results of the players who are selected to the “TOP 30”
Club from each camp will be sent to over 1500 college football coaches. Selection to the “TOP
30” Club will help each member gain greater exposure and help each player in the college scholarship
process. Sports International has achieved tremendous success in helping young football players continue
their playing careers at the college level.
Sign up for camp and you will receive a 3 month FREE
Premium Membership and a FREE recruiting profile

Who Are We?
The size of the Jay Novacek Football Camp allows our staff to separate
players by age, ability, size, weight, experience and aggressiveness.
It is difficult or impossible to do this in a smaller football camp. When
smaller camps do not have the correct number of athletes, they are
forced to match up players that should not face each other. When
players are not matched up properly, they will experience
frustration, failure, loss of confidence, and possible injury. The
Jay Novacek Football Camp has a very adequate number of players
at each age level to not only provide proper match-ups, but to also
challenge players and provide a safe learning environment during
camp. Jay’s outstanding coaching staff and learning environment has
developed a national reputation for being the best high school and
middle school football camp in the USA!
Ages 7–10 —
Beginners* and experienced players
The high school level coaching staff and pro’s feel they have a great
responsibility to this age group. The 10 and under group is very
special and will receive personalized attention and training. Learning
proper technique at this age is very important, but our staff never
forgets “football is a game”, making sure each practice is fun. Our
veteran coaching staff and pro’s will step it up a notch each day with
more advanced technique training. It is highly recommended for
campers age 7 to have a father or male guardian attend camp with
them as a volunteer counselor. We will need to place some of the
“7 year-old” volunteer counselors in a section of a dorm with older
campers and their 7 year-old son must stay with them.
Ages 11–12 —
Beginners* and experienced players
While still making each practice fun, our coaching staff will step
it up a notch for this age group with more advanced technique
training on both offense and defense. We take pride in the number
of 11–12 year-old players we have helped to make and contribute
to their youth league or school team. Our high school/college level
coaching staff and pro’s will intensify the instruction in all phases of
the game with positive, enthusiastic instruction and more advanced
technique training.
We are the finest instructional and best supervised football camp in the
USA! We are a teaching camp having graduated over 85,000 athletes, many
currently playing at the college level. We concentrate on the fundamentals
of the game. Our coaching staff offers each player an enormous amount of
encouragement with an enormous amount of enthusiasm. Our philosophy
is to “let them have fun” while learning a lot of football! We promise each
camper will go home a better football player. We encourage them to go home
a more positive, optimistic person.

Combine, but is scaled down for the younger athlete. Each

week goes on. Each player will receive more advanced
technique training each day of camp. Each player will return
to their team a much improved football player!
High School Level —
Beginners* and experienced players
Simply put, our college level coaching staffs goal is to help
each high school player attain their football goals! The Jay
Novacek Football Camp is considered to be the finest in the

Specialty Clinics
WHEN: Clinic attendees must report for clinic and camp registration between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. the first
day of the camp.
WHERE: This Specialty Clinics will take place at Univ. of North Texas on July 6.
INSTRUCTORS: Sports International brings in over 500 college and high school coaches to work our football
camps each summer. All clinics will be taught by skilled coaches who have achieved measures of greatness in
these areas either as players, coaches or both.
COST: Enrollment will be limited! Each Specialty Clinic is $125.97 total clinic tuition for campers; $165.97 for
non-campers and is non-refundable. Cancellation insurance for clinic is $10.97. This must be paid in full when you
register for the clinic. The clinic registration fee includes early arrival to camp, lunch and the Specialty Clinic.
LINEMAN, LINEBACKER, CORNERBACK, SAFETY AND DEFENSIVE ENDS CLINIC: This clinic is designed
to give each student athlete an opportunity to receive concentrated work in the areas of skill and coordinated
movement. This will aid each athlete in developing the ability to perform at the peak of his potential in the
trenches, where all games are decided. Not only are these the most unsung positions on the field, but they also
contribute the most to the success or failure of every game. Great demands are placed on these positions. Skilled
coaches will teach offensive/defensive linemen and linebackers exclusive skills and techniques.
QUARTERBACK, WIDE RECEIVER, RUNNING BACK AND TIGHT END CLINIC: These are the most skilled
positions in football! They demand a great deal of discipline and correct repetition in perfecting the skill
and techniques necessary to perform at these positions. In most cases, fall team practice cannot devote the
individualized attention and concentration in these areas. This specialty clinic offers players an opportunity to
develop their skills and learn the fundamental techniques of the quarterback, wide receiver, running back and
tight end positions. Our coaching staff’s objective is to develop each player to his fullest potential and to teach
the fundamentals.
Our goal is to teach, and teach and teach during THESE clinics! By developing supportive
relationships with each individual player and parent, our coaching staff can be a more productive resource in the
development of each player’s career. Their service does not need to stop once the clinic is over. If needed, they
can make themselves available, year-around, for advice and support. Please note, clinic participants will be grouped
according to position and not by age or experience.

and a small group of boys during camp. To be a counselor you must stay at camp during the entire
program.
“I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the ‘counselor experience’ at camp.
When we returned home, my son (who was in another wing with a different counselor)
was at a friend’s house. His parents asked Charles, “How was camp?” Charles said, “I
had fun, but Dad really had fun.” This couldn’t have been more true. I look forward
to being a counselor at camp again next year. —Steve Hebbler, Plano, Texas
