for Martin Archery in the 1960s at
the age of 18. He helped design
many popular bows, including the
Firecat, Jaguar, and Scepter. He
also designed the first fall-away
rest, a design many companies
produce today.

Martin Archery’s aluminum risers machined
from solid blocks of aircraft grade 6061-T6
aluminum. Machining from a solid block
is a more expensive process, but creates
much tighter tolerances and gives the end
user a far more accurate bow from shot to
shot. Cutting corners has never been our
style, and that is reflected in every bow that
leaves our facilities.

No plastic. No rubber. No room for error.
Solid...Dependable...Undeniable...Just a few
words to describe our Solid Seven alignment
system. The Solid Seven alignment system
is the most precise and constant limb
alignment system on the market. Where
other manufacturers use plastics, here you
will find stainless steel limb pivots that align
the limb perfectly to the limb cup. The limb
cup is aligned perfectly to the riser of the bow
with 2 precision polished stainless steel pins.
Everything is then secured using stainless steel
bolts. Without question the most accurate
and true limb alignment system ever created.

Integrated shelf plate.
Shelf plates are designed to protect. Ours
go a step further. Ours are warm to the
touch on cold mornings. Ours help dampen

String Silencers
Each Martin bow is designed to deliver its
energy to the arrow…not to the archer.
Vibration dampening is a priority and the
result is minimum recoil. When it comes
to vibration control, we’ve cut no corners.
That’s why you’ll find factory installed string
silencers with every bow we build.
VEM - Vibration Escape Module
The new Omega V is the next step in the
evolution of vibration dampening. The
new Omega V is made of a proprietary
thermoplastic that absorbs noise and
vibration better than
any other V.E.M. to

Quiver and rest lock mount.
The new Lock Mount quiver mounting
system secures your bow quiver like
never before. A trough cut into a steel
barrel nut accepts a matching step from
the quiver sleeve creating a stronger and
more universal quiver than any other
manufacturer has ever produced. This
System also allows the mounting of any
older quiver system while providing a solid
lock with the new 2x4 quiver.
Teflon coated Cable Guard
Squeaky, chattery cable guards are a thing
of the past with Martin’s new Teflon coated
cable guards! Our
cable guard rods

electo-less Teflon
nickel process that
infuses Teflon into the surface of the steel.
The Teflon plate will never wear off which

We set out to build a legitimate speed bow, a bow
to deliver more than competitive arrow speeds.
But, at Martin, we don’t believe “speed at all costs” is
the right way to build a bow. Speed, yes, maximum
speed, but with balance, with control and without
noise and vibrations….that’s how you build a speed
bow, and that’s how we built the Slayer Extreme.
The Slayer in 07 features a newly M-Pro cam, which
provides increases in let-off, and smoothness of
draw. Now that’s an improvement!
The sculptured Slayer riser is about the best looking
piece of machined metal you will ever see. We took
the approach that a riser can be more than just an
extension of two limbs, but a potential work of art.
