Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business This part-time course will give you the opportunity to take a ‘deep dive’ into emergent leadership responses to sustainability in a business context. You will explore a variety of levers for change through an academically rigorous and directly relevant learning experience. Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business (PG Dip) The PG Dip has been designed as a more practioner focused course than the Master’s in Sustainability Leadership. It will appeal to individuals unable to commit to a research dissertation and those needing greater flexibility with regard to contact time. Delivered on a part-time basis, it offers a forum for focused work-based learning, giving participants the flexibility to shape their learning to suit their own / organisational needs. Participants can take from around 1.5 to 3.5 years to complete the programme. Benefits of attending Who teaches on the courses? The goal of the PG Dip is to provide participants with access to emergent leadership responses to sustainability in a business context. In particular, the programme aims to: The course brings together academic expertise from within the University and beyond as well as insights from industry leaders and other influential thinkers. These 9 month courses provide the foundation learning for the PG Dip. Students complete three business relevant assignments and attend 2 or 3 short workshops. Part 2: Students attend three 2.5 day Sustainability Leadership Laboratories and undertake a series of practical assignments. Students select which Labs to attend based on their thematic interests. The fees are £13,515 including accommodation, subsistence and course materials. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The fee for Postgraduate Certificate alumni (since 2008) wanting to upgrade their award to the PG Dip is £7,395. This includes all accommodation, subsistence and course materials. Bursaries are available for self-funding individuals, applicants from SMEs, the public sector, NGOs, or developing countries.
