Since then, private participation in road infrastructure has remained through programs of second and third generation of road concessions which sought to improve the execution of contracts. This study was delivered on October of 2014 • There will be 3 stages: Underground civil engineering projection. Landscape features. Rolling stock design and investment costs. • • • • • The expected date to the project awarding is on May of 2016 It will have 23 stations and 45 trains which will be powered by electric energy at: Commercial Target Speed: 30 KM/H Maximum Speed: 100 KM/H The first line will have 22,7 Km starting in El Tintal, passing through Carrera 13 in Lourdes and ending in Carrera 9 with Calle 100. It will be a 100% underground metro. Approximate Cost: 4 Billion USD .
