Who we are
The Glendale Media Center is a first-class television production facility located in the heart of
Glendale’s Sports and Entertainment District. The center was designed by broadcast veterans
with one priority in mind — provide clients with exceptional state-of-the-art television
production services in a premier location.
Production House
The Glendale Media Center provides two rental studios and multi-format HD production
for video, films, advertising and commercials, studio audience shows and more.
Broadcast Location
TV news and sports crews can broadcast live from the Glendale Media Center and several
surrounding venues that are interconnected via fiber. Members of the media can take
advantage of unique standup/live-shot backdrops that include:
University of Phoenix Stadium (home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals)

Production House Services
The Glendale Media Center offers HD production studios complete with state-of-the-art
technology and amenities. Primary rental services include two large HD studios with seamless,
large radius Cyc walls with chroma key floor mats, control room, audio booth, green room and
make-up room.

Control Room
The Glendale Media Center control room features two rows of the latest production equipment and
an enclosed audio control room. HD and SD shoots from Studios A and B originate here, where a
full production crew can experience ergonomic chairs and a flat screen monitor wall for multiple
camera views. You can also broadcast live or take remote feeds from the University of Phoenix
Stadium, Jobing.com Arena, Westgate City Center, Camelback Ranch - Glendale’s spring training
facility or the third floor and the fourth floor roof deck of the Glendale Media Center.

The Glendale Media Center has hosted hundreds of journalists from across the country during
large sporting events such as Super Bowl XLII, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, BCS Championship
and a NFL NFC Championship game.
During Super Bowl XLII, more than 500 photographers, editors, reporters and producers were
credentialed to work at the Glendale Media Center. National crews from Fox News and Fox
Sports, HBO, CNN, the Weather Channel and local TV affiliates utilized the facility for live-shot
locations.

Third floor
The third floor is a spacious 4,000-square-foot room with large floor-to-ceiling windows ideal
for press conferences, media workspace, client parties and corporate meetings. The space
features floor boxes with voice/data connections, integrated WiFi, recessed video screen
projector and audio/video connections to street level ENG panel and the control room for live
remote broadcasts.

The Expo Hall is connected to the Glendale Conference and Media Center and offers 30,000
square feet of space for parties, conferences, trade shows, concerts and more. This acoustically
enhanced room features 35 floor boxes for voice, data and power connections, and a roll-up door
to accommodate 18-wheeler load-in. Cabled for broadcast through control room.

fourth floor Roof deck
The Glendale Media Center’s fourth floor roof deck offers 1,500 square feet of usable space
for reporter stand-ups and live broadcasts with close-up views of the stadium, arena and
surrounding West Valley. The covered roof deck is fully broadcast cabled to the TV truck
parking area and the control room.

The Glendale Media Center is also home to Glendale 11, the city of Glendale’s
Emmy award-winning television station.
The team from Glendale 11 brings viewers the latest news and information, along with original
programming that highlights the events and happenings that take place in the city. Glendale 11
has received numerous local, national and international awards, including the Emmy Award
and government association honors.
