LANA
Lana is a heavy weight wool blend embroidery
thread, ideal for creating designs which are soft,
fluffy or textured, such as animal fur. Strong
enough for high speed machines and made for

stitches to cover the design.
Because Lana is a thicker thread it does require a

MADEIRA Tear-Away Stabilizers
Tear-aways are temporary all-purpose stabilizers
soft and gentle to the touch, yet strong and rigid
enough for hooping and stitching on medium to
heavyweight fabrics and densely stitched
embroidery designs. Great for decorative machine

Tear-aways will not stretch or distort stitches and

Cut Aways
MADEIRA Cut-away Stabilizers
Cut-aways are permanent stabilizers meant to
remain with the garment to keep it stable during
and after embroidery. They prevent crinkling and
displacement of the work, even when
embroidering numerous small detail and are
therefore ideal for embroidery patterns with a large
number of stitches and high stitch density.
They are trimmed away only to the stitching line
and are not totally removed. Perfect for dense
embroidery designs, thick material and fabrics that
stretch or distort, like knits and synthetics.
Washes well and is excellent for jobs where the
stabilizer comes in contact with the skin and where
visibility of the stabilizer is not an issue.

Temporary Adhesive Spray

MSA 1100 Adhesive Spray is a temporary adhesive which
temporarily bonds fabrics and fibres together, leaving them
fully repositionable thus eliminating the need of pinning. An
excellent aid for appliqué, embroidery, quilting,
embellishment, stencilling or sewing and ideal for setting in
zippers. Spray from the recommended distance - around
30cm - in short bursts. The adhesive action is sustained for
one to two hours, enabling you to reposition your fabric after
spraying. The adhesive effect disappears totally after 2 to 3
days or the spray can be washed out, leaving no residue.
