DIRECTIONS TO RIVERS EDGE PET MEDICAL CENTER: Go west on Knox Butte Road E toward
Expo Pkwy NE. Stay straight to go onto Pacific Blvd SE/OR-99E S. Keep right at the fork to continue on Pacific Blvd DE/OR-99E S. 1 mile. Take the US 20 ramp toward Albany/City Center/Corvallis.
Turn right onto Lyon St S/US-20 W/Albany-Corvallis Hwy and proceed almost a mile across the
Willamette River Bridge and at the bottom turn right onto Springhill Drive. Proceed 0.2 mile on
Springhill Drive and turn left onto NW Hickory. Turn left again 0.1 mile into Tom’s Garden Center
and the clinic is on the East end of the parking lot. Distance is less than 4 miles.

Overpass (this becomes Pacific Boulevard). Go southwest and then west on Pacific Boulevard. At

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION
NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of
the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on
the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with
competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE SENIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day
of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
OPEN JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of
the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class at
a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class.
OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on
the day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a
Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class.
OPEN SENIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day of
the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class at
a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class.
MASTER CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of the
show and who have won ten (10) first place wins in an Open Class, with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the
eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All juniors meeting the criteria for
this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if
entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed, all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year.
NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry.
You may obtain your junior identification number by calling the AKC, Judges Education
Department, (919) 233-9767.
BE SURE ALL INFORMATION for Junior Showmanship Classes is entered on front and back
of entry form.

Willamette Valley Great Dane Club - Friday (both shows)
The AKC National Owner-Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited
by their owners that are not professional handlers.

OWNER-HANDLED BOX ON THE
ENTRY FORM IF ENTERING
THIS COMPETITION.”
All dogs that are owner-handled and are not solely owned or exhibited by professional handlers*
meet the requirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled
eligible at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by
an asterisk in the steward’s book & the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the breed
level competition for the regular show by an eligible owner*. Professional handlers, household members and assistants to current professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in any
breed competition during the entire show.
Owner-Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are competing in the Best of
Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes.
The breed will not be represented in the Owner-Handled Group if there is no eligible dog competing in the Best of Breed, or in Best of Winners competition.
*Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling
dogs for pay or received payment for handling a dog within the last five years.

the owners at the Chintimini Kennel Club. Breed clubs may bring handout materials.
Although clubs, groups or individuals wishing to showcase their breed may sign up
on the dry erase board on the weekend, you are encouraged to sign up for a time

The Show Site will be available to Specialty exhibitors as follows: Cascade Livestock Pavilion and
Santiam Grooming Building - 6:00 am Friday, March 27, 2015; Willamette Events Center - 12:30 pm
Friday, March 27, 2015.
Attention Exhibitors
No setting up of grooming spaces before listed times - Setups installed before listed times
will be removed.
1. The Fairgrounds will be available to All Breed Show exhibitors at 8:00 am on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best in Show judging on Sunday,
March 29, 2015.
2. No dogs allowed in buildings between 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The buildings will be locked during
those hours.
3. No smoking allowed in buildings or within 10 feet of any building entrance or air intake.
4. No ex-pens will be allowed in Main Exhibit Hall, day parking or grooming area in the Santiam
Building. Ex-pens are allowed in the Cascade Livestock Pavilion grooming area.
5. Reserved grooming is available in the Santiam Bldg & Cascade Livestock Pavilion. Free Day of Show
grooming will be in the Cascade Livestock Bldg and will be in stalls on a first come first serve basis after
12:00 Noon, Friday, March 27, 2015. Electricity will not be available in unreserved free grooming stalls.
There will be no grooming ringside, on sidewalks or near building entrances. Crates allowed at
ringside only during judging of the breed.
6. Free Day of Show unreserved grooming must be vacated by 1 hour after Best in Show each day. If
equipment is left in stalls overnight the club reserves the right to impound items. Items will be released
after occupants contact a club official and make arrangements for payment equivalent to the reserved
grooming fee at the show.
7. START CLEAN - STAY CLEAN: Handlers & Exhibitors are required to clean up their grooming and parking
areas after the show and to keep it clean during the show. Anyone in violation of this “Clean Policy
Code” will be warned to clean his/her area. Should the violation continue the set-up may be removed
from the grooming area. All grooming areas will be monitored by the PHA & Grounds Chairman.
8. Should the Show Committee determine that any dog enclosed in a vehicle is in danger, we reserve the
right to break into that vehicle. Anyone parking in the show site parking lots must accept full responsibility for damages should this occur & waive any claim to damages against Chintimini Kennel Club, Inc.
(the club) or its members.
9. EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS: To insure the safety of our dogs, exhibitors & spectators, the Club has
the right to cancel these shows in the event of extreme weather conditions.
10. No drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises.
11. No cords across any road or walkway. No generators in or near show buildings or rings. All extension cords must be heavy duty. Multiplug adaptors and extension cords must meet code.
12. No unentered dogs allowed in exhibition areas.
13. Exhibitors may videotape/photograph their own animals.
14. Crates may be in the designated area ringside for judging of the breed. Crates must be removed immediately after judging is completed for that breed.
NOTICE: All rights to TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit
these events are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made
in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in
progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the club the right to photograph,
televise, videotape, audio tape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further
release or consent.
The Chintimini Kennel Club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this
event.
A Judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to
judging. AKC approval is not required. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner
(ground, table, or ramp). At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on
a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Clumber Spaniels, English
Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft
Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Chinese Shar-Pei, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish
Lowland Sheepdogs and Norrbottenspets (Misc). At the discretion of the judge, the following breed may be
judged on the table or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging:
Cardigan Welsh Corgi. At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best
in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels &
Whippets. The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition:
Basset Hounds, Bulldogs and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation
dog shows and any AKC event where conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, Best in
Show, Junior Showmanship, the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled
Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and Best in Show competitions. Ramps can be
used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. For the
judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp breeds.

A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each
recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club
Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 1st Entry & $3.00 additional entry of same dog will
be required for each entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These Fees are
paid to the American Kennel Club.
CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH
INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.
There will be no refund for duplicate entries.
Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
Dogs allowed in rings during judging only.
Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated to
furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for
any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the
judging rings.
The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - None will be mailed.
All checks issued as prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced checks will not
be replaced. Checks are valid for 90 days. The Superintendent is not able to cash checks.
RETURNED CHECKS/DECLINED CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry fee. Fees must be paid
in guaranteed funds. Checks will not be accepted. The Superintendent will add a fee for completing the transaction and/or reprocessing the entries. Repeated occurrences from the same exhibitors may result in their
being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge
or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.
No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances,
fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy,
strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.
The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc, assume no responsibility for any
loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume
no responsibility for injury to children.

Day parking fees are for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Day parking opens at 6:00 am and vehicles must be removed by 10:00 pm.
Day parking is $5.00 per day, per space, per vehicle.
Oversized vehicles will be charged for 2 spaces & park in gravel lot only.
No overnight parking in the day lot. This will be monitored by Linn County
Sheriffs Department.
6. No exercise pens or set-ups in the day lot.
7. Handicap parking spaces are located near the main entrance.
8. All parking is at your own risk. Chintimini Kennel Club, Inc., the show superintendent nor the Linn County Fair and Expo assume any responsibility for any theft or
damage to any vehicle or its cargo.
9. Vehicles illegally parked may be towed without notice at owner’s expense.
10. No plug-in to ANY BUILDING. No cords across any road or walkway. No generators
in or near show building, rings or sheds.

ON SITE PARKING IS A PRIVILEGE EXTENDED BY THE CHINTIMINI KENNEL
CLUB, INC. AND THE LINN COUNTY FAIR AND EXPO. Any arguing, abusive language or failure to follow the rules, regulations or instructions of the club or
parking personnel will cause you to be escorted from the show site, forfeit all
parking privileges without refund of fees and possible discipline by the Event
Committee.
RV PARKING
Those using the RV Parking area are subject to all parking rules and regulations.
1. NO PLUG-IN TO ANY BUILDING per Fire Marshal.
2. Generators are allowed between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
3. All vehicles must be completely self-contained. No discharge of grey
water/sanitary tanks anywhere on the site.
4. Tow vehicles must fit into your space or additional space fee will be
charged.
5. Exhibitors are responsible for clean up of their parking spaces. Trash
barrels provided.

March 26, 2015. Refunds will be issued the week of the show by mail - all other refunds or
added charges for 50 amp power will be processed during the show at the show site.

1. Parking space assignment priority based on postmark date of completed registration with

2. Reserved Parking will be available from 8:00 am Friday until 8:00 pm Sunday. Contact

3. All spaces will be assigned. Parking Personnel will assist you in locating your space.
4. Indicate on form whether you desire to be close to Conformation, Obedience or Agility. Every
attempt will be made to honor requests. Send reservations early for best chance of desired
area. Overflow to RV gravel lot.
5. Tow vehicles and grooming setups must fit within your assigned space.

VETERAN DOG CLASS - A Class for Dogs six (6) years or older.

NON-REGULAR (ADDITIONAL) CLASSES Involving Multiple Dog Entries
As the judge's decision in the Non-Regular Classes involving Multiple Dog Entries is based on the merits
of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in these
classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.
STUD DOG CLASS - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the
same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular
classes, or as a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog
Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one
entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog
is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be
judged on the merits of the Get.
BROOD BITCH CLASS - Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and
Produce for Get.

Dogs entered in this class must be holders of either an American Kennel Club Champion of
Record Title and/or an AKC Obedience Title. The class will not be judged & is non-competitive.
Each entry will receive a special Rosette. Dogs not regularly entered in the show, but entered in
the Parade of Champions & Obedience Titleholders may be on the show grounds ONLY at the
time of the presentation. The names of the Champions & Obedience Titleholders & their owners
will be announced, but Show Records will NOT be publicized.
1ST & 2ND SHOW - PARADE OF VETERANS
Any Great Dane that is 6 years of age or older may be entered in this class which is non-competitive.
1ST & 2ND AWARDS OF MERIT
The judge may, at his/her discretion, recall into the ring up to 2 dogs/bitches of the Best
of Breed entry to receive Judges' Award of Merit Rosettes offered by the Willamette
Valley Great Dane Club, Inc. These Rosettes are reserved for those quality animals the
judge feels are worthy of final consideration for Best of Breed.
2ND SHOW JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION
NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of
the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on
the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with
competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE SENIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day

eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All juniors meeting the criteria for
this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if
entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed, all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year.
NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry.

Reservation Deadline: Postmarked March 15, 2015
Members of the Professional Handlers Association will monitor spaces during
the shows. David Hagey is the club liaison. Spaces are 8x10 feet & electricity is
available in both the Santiam Building and the Cascade Livestock Pavilion.
Bring heavy duty extension cords & plan on sharing.
Grooming space assignments will be posted on the doors and inside grooming buildings.
Spaces assigned by postmark date and all overflow will be assigned to the
Cascade Livestock Pavilion. Spaces fill early.
1. Exhibitors wishing to groom together MUST submit reservations in the
same envelope.
2. Exercise pens are permitted in the Cascade Livestock Pavilion Reserved
Grooming spaces. Exercise pens are not permitted in the Santiam
Building.
3. Free day-of-show grooming stalls are located in the Cascade Livestock
Pavilion. No electricity available. Free Day-of-show grooming is to be
shared & for short term use only. Vacate your free space as soon as possible so others may use it. If equipment is left in free day of show stalls
overnight the club reserves the right to impound items. Items will be
released after occupants contact a club official and make arrangements
for payment equivalent to the reserved grooming fee at the show.

4. No generators permitted in any building.
5. Dog bathing available at the horse wash racks on the west side of the
Cascade.
6. Grooming spaces available Friday 6:00 am for specialties & 8:00 am for all
other exhibitors; cleaned up by 1 hour past Best in Show on Sunday.
7. Buildings open 6:00 am & locked at 9:00 pm. No dogs overnight in any
building.

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win
prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents,
superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold
this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless
from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of
this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility
and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or
damage to this dog.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are
entering i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.).
Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat,
long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough,
smooth),
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs
which, according to their owner’s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show
where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has
been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of
acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his
name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the A.K.C. (For complete rules refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog “AllAmerican Dog/Mixed Breed.” Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility
and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or
damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties
harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in
this event, however such injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or
may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other
persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY,
EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS
AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION
ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES
MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES
AND GUIDELINES.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are
entering i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.).
Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat,
long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough,
smooth),
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs
which, according to their owner’s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show
where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has
been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of
acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his
name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the A.K.C. (For complete rules refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog “AllAmerican Dog/Mixed Breed.” Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
