FASHION DESIGNER
My design has been inspired by orchids.
A pure white self embroidered net
constructed with 12 panels and 6
godets along with a pink base fabric
compliments the two layered outfit.
The bodice has been constructed with a
princess line in a razor back style. A
white net dupatta completes the outfit.
It was a great opportunity and
experience. Proud to be an INIFDian.

ROHAN INGLAY
INTERIOR DESIGNER
I have been Inspired from the set design
of the Gauri Khan show in the Lakme
Fashion week 'Floral colours'. Colors
used are Grey, off white & Pearl pink
and a dash of maroon for contrast effect
on the backdrop. This design creates an
essence of freshness. With this in mind,
it can be used in any open spaces as a
collage in rooms, occasion backdrops
and much more. I am highly obliged to
INIFD Kothrud and Mita ma'am for
believing in me.

MANAYA KAMTHE
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
I have been inspired by the traditional
wear of India. I have used the tie and dye
technique in my garment. The kurta is
made up of a velvet bodice with faux
gold zipper and the lower half has knife
pleats in net and georgette. I'm thankful
to INIFD Kothrud for believing that I
could achieve this.

INTERIOR DESIGNER
The walnut brown polished table gives
a harmonious look to the complete
setup. To enhance its appearance the
hukka gives a royal look along with
candles on Filigree stands. Being a part
of such a humongous photo-shoot was
a great opportunity for me. I thank
INIFD Kothrud for all their support.

ARCHANA LOHAR

This party wear has been inspired by a
classic churidar and kurta. My design is a
chic version of the same. I have given a
variation of a surplice to the self
embellished long netted kurta. The
same has been worn over blue printed
satin tube top and straight pants. It is
through INIFD Kothrud that I have
been introduced to this wonderful
world of design. Proud to be an
INIFDian.
KUSHAL JIJHOTIYA
I N T E R I O R D E S I G N E R
The grill-board has been designed using
lightware laser exclusive pattern which
has endless applications such as room
dividers, wind covering custom panel,
etc. I have used the same technique and
embossed it with a PVC foam sheet and
velvet paper. The color maroon for the
velvet paper has been used as it
symbolises healing and power. This
panel can be used for residential and
commercial purpose. For half of the
background I have used cut bamboo
and arranged them parallel and polished
them in rosewood to sync it with the
grill-board. I am extremely thankful to
INIFD Kothrud for helping me to
conceptualize my creation.

HARSHITA
SAMDARIYA
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
My design is a package of style &
tradition. I have created a one-piece
with a handkerchief hemline made of
pin-striped black and white shirting
fabric. An embroidered and mirror
work jacket with a long slit with a shirt
collar showcases the modern Indian
woman who has a strong sense of
aesthetics & loves tradition, but doesn't
compromise on style. The head wrap,
tribal jewellery and black pointed toepumps add a punch to the look.
Extremely proud to be an INIFDan.

KAJOL LOHAR
I N T E R I O R D E S I G N E R
Rajasthan has artistic and cultural
traditions which reflect the various
colors of life. Thus, taking inspiration
from the above culture and being
motivated by craftsmanship of the
locals, I gave my setup a cultural taste of
the Rajasthani Bazaar by assembling
various props like earthen pots, carts ,
mirror work torans and goundasin a
basket setup on tripod. Thank you
INIFD Kothrud for helping me achieve
greater heights.

SAKSHI RAWAT
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
Women are known to be mysterious
and that is what I have tried to depict in
my design. This strappy mid-night blue
gown is constructed with a double
circular flare with the hemline and
waist-line being emphasized using a
delicate gold border. A beige-gold lace
knit fabric has been used for the crop
top. This was an enthralling experience
for me to cherish. Thank you INIFD
Kothrud for extending a helpful hand.

I N T E R I O R D E S I G N E R
'Bricks' is the core element of my design
as I firmly believe that they are the
building blocks of any foundation. But if
you see I have used a distorted
construction of the same to create an
impression of a table. Antique props
like brass surai with glasses and a
lantern add a rustic look to the
complete setup. To be part of such a
professional photo-shoot would not
have been possible without INIFD
Kothrud. I cannot thank Mita ma'am
enough for the same.

Today is the time of asymmetric and
that is how I have made my kurta.
Letting go of the typical salwar worn
with a kurta, I have given the model
black straight pants. As a final touch to
the garment, a black tasselled ascot has
been draped around the neck. I am
grateful to INIFD Kothrud and Its
faculties for guiding me towards this
photoshoot.
SHUBHAM PATEL
I N T E R I O R D E S I G N E R
I have shown a picture of an urban
stylish man, who will go to any lengths
to achieve the unachievable in terms of
fashion. To justify the concept, I have
used the elements like scarves, ties,
pearls, stoles etc. displayed like a
treasure out of a trunk. INIFD Kothrud
has been my mentor right from the
beginning of my journey in Interior

DINESH DAMJI
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
Inspired from the royalty of Rajasthan,
my outfit shows a blend of modernity
with tradition. This variation of a
Jodhpuri suit has trousers blending from
ruche fitted to being baggy at the top.
The trouser is paired with a jacket in
dual colored fabrics in a half and half
look. This gives a look of a Maharaja, but
with a modern twist. Thank you INIFD
Kothrud and all faculties for endless
support.
POONAM MANGADE
I N T E R I O R D E S I G N E R
My theme is inspired from the royal
majesty of Rajasthan. I have highlighted
the main features like 'talwar' as
Rajasthan is a state of brave kings. The
Pagdi is a part of their authentic dress
code which even the kings wore. The
candle-lit hanging lamps and the
authentic vase on a handcrafted corner
table capture the ambience of the royal
palace. INIFD Kothrud has inspired me
to do much more than I could have ever
imagined. All credit goes to Mita ma'am
and the team of faculties of INIFD.

SHUTIKA DAVE

This maxi dress portrays an ultra
feminine look. A net and raw silk
bodice is structured with a key hole
at the front, while the back is
covered only with a net fabric till
the waist. The lower half has been
constructed in two layers, with the
overlapping upper layer cut
asymmetrically and curling at the
front. This floor length garment is a
perfect ensemble for the woman of
today. It's been a wonderful
experience. Thank you INIFD

Meeting the demands of my theme
– Indo-western, my design consists
of a fitted golden brocade waist
coat paired with a knee length
cream colored jute silk sherwani.
An off white ruche bottomed
trouser completes the ensemble. I
would like to thank INIFD Kothrud
and all my faculties for giving me this
opportunity and a great learning
experience.

I am inspired by the Indian
traditions which made me create
this ensemble.
I have made use of the traditional
off-white tussah Silk fabric for the
kurta paired with a beige gold mix
Patiala salwar. The look has been
completed with a black and gold
jacquard waist coat. I'm thankful to
INIFD Kothrud and Mita ma'am for
believing in me.

My theme is indo-western and to
live up to it, I have designed a cream
colored faux silk dhoti with a golden
dobby border paired with a brickred collarless shirt and accentuated
with a cream stole. To break the
monotony of the classic shirt, I have
designed it in such a way that it suits
the man of today. INIFD Kothrud
has been my stepping stone into this
world of Fashion. Thank you my
mentors.

CHETANA WAGH
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
I have been inspired by the
traditional lehenga choli, so my
design is a modern version of the
same. My creation consists of a long
full circular lehenga with a broad jari
border coupled with a lavender
velvet tube top. A shimmery gold
net poncho replaces the traditional
dupatta. This has been a great
learning experience for me. Thank
you so much INIFD Kothrud for
giving me such a wonderful
opportunity. Thank you teachers
for believing in me.

GORI KATARIA
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
My design is inspired from, and is a
combination of, a jodhpuri and a
sherwani. Keeping the front bodice
short in length as in a jodhpuri, the
back has been styled like a
sherwani. To give a twist to this
look, it is worn over black velvet
pants accessorised with formal
shoes. It has been a great learning
experience designing for
spectacular. I thank INIFD Kothrud
for giving me this opportunity. This
is my first step towards success.

This is a two piece ensemble with
the inner kurta being short in length
in bright pink velvet worn below a
long black kurta made from a
sequenced fabric. The highlight of
the dress are it's dupatta sleeves
reaching the floor. The upper
bodice has been accessorised with a
multi stranded diamond neck piece.
This is my first step towards my
goal. I have learned so much out this
shoot. It was a great experience and
happy to see my outcome.

My garment is a two layered flared
long kurta teamed with a blue
colored legging. The kurtas have
been attached at the collar with a
variation of a peek-a-boo created at
the bust. The fabric used is raw silk
and butter crepe for the entire
garment. The top most kurta gives
an impression of a front open
jacket.
A contemporary touch has been
added to the kurta with the use of
the razor back style. INIFD
Kothrud had helped me achieve
greater heights at designing. Proud
to be an INIFDian.

India is a country with a rich cultural
heritage. I have tried to combine
the modernity of thought
transcending into a contemporary
garment. My main inspiration is
from Rajasthani miniature paintings.
The long sheer kurta is paired with
a straight fitted silk trouser with
Jute patchwork at the ankle. The
upper bodice of the kurta is
constructed with raw silk and jute
to create a royal appearance. This
whole experience has been
extremely enriching. Thank you
Mita Ma'am, Shweta Ma'am and
Akhilesh Sir for all the guidance and
support.

VIDYA KOLEKAR
FA S H I O N D E S I G N E R
I have tried to create the” Macho
Look” with the use of the denim
fabric in my design. The emphasis is
the denim jacket embellished with
kantha embroidery, paired with an
off-white buttoned down kurta.
The jacket is a reversible one and
has a fabric with an animal print on
its other side. The fitted off-white
trouser and the brown boots
complete the design. I thank INIFD
Kothrud for giving me a platform to
show-case my talent and explore
my creativity.
