We are pleased to present the Dollywood Clogging Classic!
This is a NCHC Sanctioned event and all teams placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd qualify for the USA National Championships,
Labor Day Weekend September 3-4, 2016 at the Marriott Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN!

Competition Hours:Saturday 8AM—5 PM (Registration 7 AM Will Call Booth) Sunday 9:30 AM –until.
Park Hours:
Saturday 10 AM—8 PM Sunday 10 AM—7 PM

Schedule:
Saturday—All Teams
Price:
Dancers $60—includes a 2 day pass to the park for Saturday and Sunday, entry to all team, duet and
solo categories (except Choreographed Solos $25 extra—must also be a registered dancer). No
registration will be accepted at the door. No Season passes may be used for competition dancers.
Sunday—All Duet and Solo Categories
Spectators $52.50 includes a 2 day pass into the park for Saturday and Sunday. Season passes may be
used. The price at the gate for a one day pass is $72.95
Director Passes: Each studio will receive 2 director passes.

April 24, 2016 - Due to time constraints, registration deadline may close early!
Ticket Pickup:
Tickets may be picked up Friday night from 8 PM to 10 PM. Place to be announced. OR Saturday
Morning at the park from Dollywood Will Call booth.
T-Shirts:
T-Shirts are available for $20 each. Pre-order only. T-Shirts will include all team names registered by
April 24th.
Food & Drink: No outside food or drink allowed in the park. No coolers. (yes, infant and toddler food excluded).
Costume Storage: If you have a clothing rack please bring as no outfits will be allowed on seats. A dressing area will
be provided.
Parking:
Standard Parking—Parking for all standard length vehicles is $12- Trams provide transportation to
the Front Gate.
RV PARKING—Parking for RVs and oversize vehicles is $18. This allows you to park your RV in
the "Permit Parking" lot. Trams provide transportation to the Front Gate. RV parking lot is not
available for overnight parking or camping.

Acapella Duet: (Non-Sanctioned)
Time Limit - 1 Minute
Levels:
Challenge and Masters (see guidelines)
Dancers: 1 couple – male/male, female/female or male/female.
Costumes: No requirements
Figures: Figures are allowed, but not required
Steps:
Any Clog steps allowed. Dancers must be in step with each other at all times.
Handclaps are NOT allowed.
Movement:Dance must start from and end on stage, no dancing on and off stage.
Music:
No music allowed.
Callers:
Dance may NOT be called, cued or heard.
Judging: Judges face away from stage and judge the clarity and intricacy of performance.
Choreographed Solos:(Non-Sanctioned)
Time limit is 1 ½ minutes
Costumes: No requirements
Steps:
Any clogging steps are allowed.
Judging:
Emphasis will be on sound, rhythm and entertainment value.
Music:
Any type of music is allowed.
Dancers:
Males and Females will compete against each other.
Movement: Dancer must use entire stage showing the ability to move with precision footwork.
Props:
Stage props are allowed but MUST BE INCORPORATED into the choreography of the
routine.

To determine team's and/or duet's average age — total the ages of all dancers performing in that particular routine, then divide that
number by the total number of dancers. (Example: If average age is 15.8, the age division you would then dance in would be Junior.)
Individuals: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-25, 26-35, 36 & over
Acapella Individuals: 11 & under and 12 & over
Short Duets: 11 & under, and 12 & over
Choreographed Solos: 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 10-25, 26 & over
Management reserves the right to combine or sub-divide age divisions depending on number of entrees received. Scores will be
