What we did this month
This month we have finally hit the Polish media on a large scale with iCorner products. We have
appeared in multiple magazines and on popular tech websites with products such as Sphero,
Fitbit, mophie and LifeProof.
As the only company in Poland we have made an effort to enter YouTube and reach out to all
the popular influencers with whom we’ve been working for the past 2 months in order to bring
the best QPAD reviews for the audience of approximately 300,000 unique users.
Because of our YouTube endeavors we have also become the main sponsor for an amazing
YouTube Meet-Up event in Kraków which took place on Saturday, August 17th and gathered an
overwhelming number of 2000 visitors and gave us hundreds of thousands of views and great
brand recognition for iCorner, QPAD and EIZO.
Slowly, but steadily we are also planning to enter more Social Media channels: Instagram,
Google+ and Vine. Our tech department is working on upgrading iCorner.pl website – flat design
and responsive layout. We are doing everything we can to match the needs of our customers.
In the upcoming months we want to continue working with YouTube personalities, increase
Alstor’s brands awareness, enter more highly recognized magazines and websites and hopefully
create new business opportunities in co-operation with our Polish channel-partners.

YouTube exposure
Our QPAD products are thoroughly reviewed by popular or upcoming YouTube stars. We have
developed a well-connected network with small, medium and the biggest channels in Poland.
Our reviews hit from 1000 to even more than 20,000+ views per video.

Our products have been mentioned by huge tech/gadget blogs and websites in Poland, and also
by the press. We have gathered plenty of materials such as full-page reviews and articles.

Facebook growth
We are responsible for Facebook profiles of @QPAD Polska and @iCorner.pl. Due to our recent
activities we have witnessed an enormous growth of our fanbase and activity level on both
profiles. We make sure to be as active as possible, answering over 90% of posts and comments,
and replying to every single private message.
Our iCorner fanpage have seen an intense growth once we have started working with YouTube
Personalities during the YouTube Meet-Up in Kraków. Our QPAD Polska fanpage has been
growing for quite some time now, but YouTube event has given it a huge boost.

YouTube Kraków Meet-up
We went to Kraków to sponsor and support the biggest YouTube fans gathering in Poland thus
far. We went there with iCorner brands, QPAD and EIZO. We have secured branding during the
event (huge banners displayed within the event area), made sure that pre-event vlogs
(previews) and post-event vlogs had our names and links in the video description, and were also
mentioned by the YouTube personalities.
Not only that, but we did a lot of networking and we are now in touch with the biggest gaming
YouTube channels in Poland (100k+ subscriptions). We want to continue working with them as
much as possible.

Hot Zlot 2013
Hot Zlot is an amazing event which takes place once every year in Poland. It is a technology
fans gathering hosted by a popular tech website – dobreprogramy.pl. We have partnered up
with them to support their initiative through two of our software brands – Bitdefender and
MAGIX.

Inspired by Japan – digital art contest
2013 is the fourth edition of digital art contest Inspired by Japan. Complete free-style and only
one condition: reference to Japan, motherland of EIZO. Prizes: EIZO SX2462W monitor, monthly
promotion for the author at Graffus.com, Adobe Illustrator workshop, photographical workshop
sponsored by Digital Foto Video, Fotolia.com subscription, COOKOO Watch and subscriptions to
Computer Arts and Digital Foto Video magazines.

Alstor – company full of professionals
Our employees are constantly learning new skills and receive new certificates almost every
month. We are the only company in Europe to have full Ziosoft software for 4D/5D
reconstruction. Christopher, one of Alstor’s Product Managers, is among very few people in
Europe to have Trellis certification. Our tech support hold numerous certificates from the biggest
companies in the world.

21st International Defence Industry Exhibition
Here at Alstor, we are consistently exposing our products and grab every single opportunity to
promote the companies that we work with. We promote, not only sell. Our marketing
department is looking for new ways of reaching potential B2C and B2B customers every day.
The 21st edition of the International Defence Exhibition is held in Kielce from September 2nd to
5th 2013. The expo has been granted the Honorary Patronage of President of Republic of Poland
Mr Bronisław Komorowski. The International Defence Industry Exhibition is the forum which
brings together potential clients and suppliers; this is also the showcase for the latest military
technologies, armaments and products for the army. This is the place where clients can present
their needs and expectations; this is the platform for talks and discussions. Business insiders
from all over the world establish new contacts and maintain their long-lasting relations with
international clients and cooperating parties.
Since 2004, the MSPO exhibition has been accompanied by National Exhibitions. Until now
Germany, France, Israel, the USA, Sweden, the V4 Group Countries and Great Britain have
presented their military potentials. The MSPO 2013 exhibition will be accompanied by the
National Exhibition of Turkey.

Our Marketing Department is full of people with years of practice. From writing press releases
to creating events – we know what to do and how to be effective. In co-operation with our
graphic designer we create catalogues, ads, newsletters and everything else that later can be
seen either live during an event, online or in magazines.

Summary
August was a successful month for us both marketing and sales wise. Not only we have
improved our visibility, but we have also created new connections and opened a lot of doors that
will benefit our company in the future.
Despite hard work, we remember that having fun can also be a part of our job. This time, during
the event in Kraków we have decided to take a short break and walk around this amazing city
with Sphero, world’s first robotic ball gaming system created by one of our partners - Orbotix.
