Mr. Fastfinger enters the next level of releasing music
Tandem of music release and a game experience for guitarists
Mr. Fastfinger is the creation of Finnish
guitarist and producer Mika Tyyskä. In 2005, he
shook the guitar world with his animated
instructional guitar game site Guitar Shred
Show.com. The highly popular Guitar Shred Show
has had several million visitors since 2005.
GuitarBots is an innovative online guitar
learning game played with any real guitar(acoustic
or electric),
making it more motivating and fun to develop real
life guitar skills. You can play the game directly on
your web browser. The game is played with a real
guitar using the computer’s microphone to “listen”
to the chords and notes played. GuitarBots is
suitable for all ages and skill levels.
Mr. Fastfinger’s new music release "Stringweaver" is a mini album with
four musical scenes. Three of these songs are also part of a game level
package created for GuitarBots, the social online guitar game played with a
real guitar.
Collaboration of guitarist Mika Tyyskä (aka Mr. Fastfinger) and game
company Ovelin resulted as a Mr. Fastfinger song content package on
GuitarBots.
Collaboration of the game company and artist introduces a new way of
releasing music. The game enviroment of GuitarBots opens a novel way of
interacting the song content, making the experience more personal.
– “You can get so much deeper with the music when you’re playing it
yourself. Once I had started working on the music, I realised the material
would also make a nice stand alone music release”, says Mika Tyyskä.
Vivid ear traveling experience
Stringweaver can be seen as an extended soundtrack to Mr. Fastfinger
song levels of the online game GuitarBots. Mini album takes you on a
vivid ear traveling experience. The neck bends, the notes fly, the pick is
sharper than an arrow. Instrumental rock is filled with emotion, passion, joy,
excitement, surprising elements and positive energy. This music was
designed to draw images and scenes in your ear and mind.

Shred your guitar - Reach for the highest score!
Mr. Fastfinger is best known of his animated instructional guitar game site,
GuitarShredShow.com. Highly popular Guitar Shred Show has had
several million visitors since 2005. After releasing two solo albums, the
GuitarBots collaboration brings sensei back to his roots.
– I'm not usually spending time with computer games, but when I tested
some of the already exciting game levels in GuitarBots, I realized the
potential of this game. It’s a great practicing and learning environment. The
game detects your guitar playing, the pitch and timing incredibly well. When
the guys at Ovelin asked me to produce songs for the game, I was very
much inspired by the opportunity to take Mr. Fastfinger back to gaming, says
Mika.

Mr. Fastfinger is The creation of Finnish guitarist and producer Mika
Tyyskä. In 2005 Mr. Fastfinger shook the guitar world when Guitar
Shred Show.com, the animated instructional guitar game site was
