The position as community planner is to get the community involved with the community needs and wants for the future, it brings you the people of SCN into the planning for the future of our community, your voices and ideas are what we need to continue to better our community. Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) is a process that allows for communities to shape their own future and destiny, and implement projects to help Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) “It’s all to build a brighter future for our community and our people. I think we are on the right path.” Jeremy Kematch – SCN Planning Coordinator Housing Survey Over 140 surveys collected!! Goals of the survey: condition and level of crowding present; type and level of servicing; and future locations for the development of new housing. Housing Report 8 Sections Introduction and Housing on Manitoba First Nations Introduction to Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Housing Survey Results Next Steps Survey results are the bulk of the Next Steps The Next steps with CCP is to come from the community, this is why AMC, CMHC, and the University of Manitoba funded this position for four First Nations in Manitoba. When we get going with CCP, it will bring guidance for our community's present and future.
