Polar Bear
Ursus maritimus
Polar bears put Olympic swimmers to
shame. They cut through the ocean at 6
mph. Compare that to Olympic swimmers
who clock in at 4.5 mph. Not only fast,
polar bears, on average, can swim nonstop
for 62 miles - that’s like swimming from SLC
to Park City and back!
