TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Mis-shipments. Item shortages and Damaged Goods. Mis-shipments, item shortages, and damaged goods must be reported to our
customer service department within 7 days of the actual delivery date of the shipment. Claims not reported within the specified time
frame will not be investigated or processed.
Open Accounts. Company check acceptance and/or “Net 15” payment terms may be established after a credit application is approved. Contact our Accounts Receivable Department for more information. Any open accounts with balances not paid within 30 days
will be considered delinquent.
Past Due Accounts. Any accounts with balances not paid in full within 45 days of the invoice date are subject to immediate credit
hold. If your account is on credit hold, no orders will be shipped until a payment plan has been accepted by Weddle Industries. In
any event, regardless of payment history, Weddle Industries reserves the right to suspend or alter credit terms, require payment in
advance, or take other actions to secure payment. A 1.5% monthly finance charge will be added to unpaid balances after 45 days from
date of invoice.
Prices subject to change without notice. Weddle Industries’ prices are subject to change without notice at any time, including (without limitation) between the date of buyer’s order and the date of shipment. Buyer shall be liable for the prices in effect on the
date of shipment.
Payment Terms. Orders can be prepaid with a major credit card or we can ship your order by UPS C.O.D. You will need to have a
certified bank check or money order made payable to Weddle Industries for the full amount of your order when it arrives. International
orders cannot be shipped C.O.D.
Product Design Changes and Discontinued Items. Weddle Industries reserves the right to discontinue the sale of a product or
to amend the design of any item at will, without liability to improve or repurchase products previously sold or delivered.
Returns. All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. A Weddle Industries sales representative must be notified before
any returns are accepted. Returned items must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Form that can be downloaded here.
All returns must be received within 45 days of the invoice date and a copy of the original invoice must be included. RETURN ITEMS
MUST BE IN LIKE-NEW CONDITION. No credit will be given for items that have been installed or items that appear used or damaged
in any way (cosmetic damage included). Special order items and obsolete items will not be accepted for return credit.
Returned Checks. Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 minimum service charge and may result in the suspension of credit
terms and/or the placement of the account on credit hold.
Sales Tax. California State Sales Tax will be added to all orders shipped to an address within the State of California.
Shipping Information. Most items are shipped the same day or the next business day. However, there are sometimes exceptions.
We will attempt to notify you if your order is going to be delayed more than 5 business days. Orders are normally shipped by UPS
Ground, but UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select service is available upon request. UPS will not deliver to a post office box.
Warranty. Weddle Industries distributes products from many top manufacturers worldwide and it is our goal to provide excellent
quality parts to our customers. If, at the time of sale, you are not satisfied with the quality of a product you purchase from us, we may,
at our discretion, replace the product or issue a refund. However WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT
TO THE INSTALLATION OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS WE SELL. WE ASSUME NO OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO THESE PRODUCTS,
EXCEPT FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF SALE, TO REPAIR OR REPLACE ONLY THE PARTS THAT WE SUPPLY, IF

We put 30 years of industry experience and insight i nto the
original Weddle HV1 transaxle. Since its introduction, the HV1
has been a huge success. The HV1 gearbox has been put to the
test in rugged conditions and has logged thousands of successful,
trouble-free miles in a variety of vehicles. But we weren’t satisfied.
We knew we could do even better.

HV24/HV25 upgraded features:
• 29mm forward gears, ground after heat treat
Enter the Weddle HV24 & HV25. The 4-speed Weddle HV24
and 5-speed Weddle HV25 include several major upgrades. These
heavy duty, next-generation Weddle gearboxes feature wider
gears, an extra bearing support between 2nd and 3rd gears, billet shift forks, heat-treated and ground shift rails, tapered roller
bearings to handle end-thrust, and a heavy duty, constant mesh,
synchronized reverse gear. An optional internal oil pump and oil
distribution system are available for extreme-duty applications.
The Weddle HV24 and HV25 will take HV Series transaxles to the
next level of performance.

As a performance transaxle, the 1984 and later VW Vanagon (094)
has serious advantages over the earlier 002 and 091 Bus transaxles. First, it has a full-size reverse gear. Second, it’s easier to
service: no shift jig needed. Previously, the only downside to using
an 094 trans was the difficulty in fabricating the external shift linkage. To solve this, Weddle Industries now manufactures a forward
facing solid shift linkage assembly that is fully compatible with
existing VW shifters. We also offer an 094 cable shifter kit.

trans can be surprisingly tough. If chassis layout or race rules
dictate a Type 2 transaxle, we’ve got you covered with the best
selection of extreme duty racing parts available. An all out high
performance 091 transaxle is not a cheap to way to go, but doing
the job right will greatly increase your odds of making it to the
finish line.

The Albins ST6 is an evolutionary leap forward in performance
transaxle design. This extremely strong, yet compact trans delivers lightning fast shifts and rock solid reliability. Standard drop
gears provide quick, efficient ratio changes. The highly adaptable
Albins ST6 gearbox was originally designed for the 2013 V8 Supercars Australia racing series, but the base 6-speed gear section
can be configured to work as an inline transmission, rear-mount
transaxle or mid-mount transaxle. With its innovative design and
adaptors, the ST6 can easily be tailored to specific applications
and engines. It’s the trans that’s been winning in Robby Gordon’s
SCORE Trophy Truck and is now delivering power to the ground in
MacG Racing’s Britcar Silverstone 24hr Race vehicle.
The entire ST6 line features profile-ground gears that are shot
peened and isotropic polished. Inspection ports make routine
inspection easy without disassembly. Internal oil pumps are
standard. In endurance tests up to 3000 miles, the ST6 has performed flawlessly.

The Klingelnberg Palloid System
For High Performance Ring & Pinion Sets
Ring & Pinion Design Systems
There are three major design systems currently used to produce
ring & pinion gear sets in the world today – Gleason, Oerlikon, and
Klingelnberg Palloid. The different cutting methods employed by
these three systems produce significantly different tooth forms.
The Gleason tooth form is arc shaped and has a tooth depth that
varies along the length of the tooth. The Oerlikon and Klingelnberg
tooth forms have a constant tooth depth and are designed to provide a beneficial rolling motion of the gear teeth as they mesh. The
Klingelnberg Palloid system, which uses hobs instead of cutters,
produces a tooth form that follows a true involute curve whereas
the Gleason and Oerlikon designs only approximate an involute
curve.
Due to economic factors, the majority of spiral bevel and hypoid
gear sets manufactured today are of the Gleason design, with
most of the balance produced by the Oerlikon method. This is
because the Gleason and Oerlikon tooth profiles are generated
using cutter head type machines, which can produce high volumes
of gears very efficiently. However, modern cutter head technology requires compromises to the tooth design and the ideal tooth
shape cannot be achieved.
Unlike the Gleason and Oerlikon designs, Klingelnberg Palloid
tooth profiles are generated using specially designed spiral hobs,
which produce a gear tooth shape that is close to the theoretical
ideal. The resulting gears tend to be stronger and more accurate
with smoother running tooth forms, but Klingelnberg Palloid gear
sets are generally more expensive to produce, especially in large
production runs.
The Klingelnberg Advantage
Despite the fact that Klingelnberg Palloid gear sets are relatively
expensive, they are used in many demanding fields of application, including stationary gearboxes for high tech machinery and
in automotive applications where large amounts of torque and/or
shock loading must be delivered through the gearbox and differential section. This is because the Klingelnberg Palloid design offers
some significant advantages that justify the higher production
costs. Some of these advantages include:
Strength: Klingelnberg Palloid gears have a parallel slot width,
which allows a fully rounded root region with the maximum possible root radii. This greatly improves resistance to bending stress
and tooth fatigue. The small radius of the lengthwise curvature of
the teeth and the high tooth contact ratio provided by the unique
hobbing motion of this system greatly increases the load carrying
capacity of the gear set while the true involute tooth form makes
Klingelnberg Palloid gears less sensitive to gearbox and shaft de-
flections (case flex and shaft flex). In addition, it is possible to design gears with increased helix angle when necessary for certain
applications. Since its inception, low sensitivity to deflection and
high break-point capabilities have established this method as an
effective means of preventing failures in highly stressed gearbox
assemblies. In some applications, Klingelnberg Palloid gear sets
can provide up to 25% more strength in the same size package.
Accuracy: Teeth are generated purely by rolling motion of the
hobs, which insures a high degree of tooth form accuracy. The
generating process is theoretically exact and calculation of the
tooth shape is relatively simple compared to cutter head generated designs. Even under high volume production conditions, the
combination of continuous indexing and a single-lead hob results
in very accurate tooth forms.
Longer Gear Life: The Klingelnberg Palloid method results in
extremely smooth running gear sets. The unique hobbing process
provides excellent lapping conditions and enhances the inherent
smooth rolling motion of the gear teeth. This feature, combined
with a high tooth contact ratio, insures a long service life.
Quiet Operation: A combination of factors, including a high degree
of tooth form accuracy, a high tooth contact ratio, and the fact that
involute tooth forms are relatively insensitive to deflections and
mislocations during final assembly of the gearbox, insure that
Klingelnberg Palloid gear sets exhibit extremely good noise behavior, even when conditions are not ideal.
Small Minimum Batches: The Klingelnberg Palloid gear generating process requires less time to “dial in” the correct pattern, so
there are less parts wasted during manufacturing. In addition, the
tool setup times are short compared to the cutter head method.
Hobs can be changed in a matter of minutes rather than hours.
And there is no adjusting of single cutter blades, so adjustment
errors are eliminated. This makes it economically feasible to make
small runs of gear sets for specialty and prototype applications.
This is a huge advantage over gear head cutter machines, which
generally require minimum runs of 150 or more pieces.

All of our Gleason ring & pinion sets are manufactured from top
quality materials. Our made in USA Gleason sets are Parkerized after
lapping (this is a black phosphate conversion coating that is applied
to the surface of the part to improve lubricity and help with initial
break-in). Made in China ring & pinion sets are not Parkerized.
Overall, our Gleason ring & pinion sets are an excellent value and
offer an economical alternative to our high-end Klingelnberg Palloid

Weddle Racing Gears have been the number one choice for VW
high performance transaxles since 1993. We use a proprietary
spec, fine grain vacuum melt steel, each bar of which is ultrasound tested for internal defects prior to machining. Computer
aided gear tooth design maximizes the strength and durability
of each ratio, and precisely controlled manufacturing ensures
consistent quality control. All of our gears go through a special multi-phase heat-treat and cryogenic process that greatly
increases tooth strength and fatigue resistance. Finally, all
gears are shot-peened, and the bearing and thrust surfaces are
precision CNC ground. Many of the hardest running vehicles in
the world have proven that these gears can withstand abuse that
causes other brands of gears to fail.

In a continued effort to improve our product line, we are
proud to announce the release of our new profile ground
Weddle Racing Gears. What separates these gears from the
previous generation of hobbed gears is their extremely precise gear tooth geometry, achieved by grinding the gear tooth
profile after heat treat. This eliminates imperfections left over
from gear hobbing and corrects the distortion that occurs during heat treat. The result is a perfect tooth form every time.
Profile grinding, coupled with Weddle’s proprietary spec gear
material and manufacturing processes, will result in stronger,
more durable gears that run quieter and last longer. With this
leap forward in technology, Weddle Racing Gears will maintain
their position as leader in strength and quality.
113/002 Gears. Our 113/002 Weddle Racing Gears are designed
to fit ‘61-’79 Type 1 or ‘61-’75 Bus transaxles. Our “Hybrid
113/002” splined mainshaft design takes advantage of the best
features of the early and late model configurations and can be
used with a special Weddle Racing 3rd-4th slider hub in any year
Type 1 or 002 Bus transaxle.
091 Bus Gears. Weddle 091 Racing Gears are for use in ‘76-’79
VW Bus and ‘80-’83 (air-cooled) VW Vanagon transaxles. The
091 (or “6-rib”) transaxle offers many advantages over earlier
designs, including wider 1st through 4th gears; heavy duty differential gears; a beefed up high rib main case; and the stronger
4.57 ring & pinion ratio.
094 Vanagon Gears. We stock a complete line of 1st through 4th
gear sets for the 094 Vanagon transaxle. The 094 trans has all
of the advantages of the 091 Bus, with the addition of a super
strong reverse gear. Historically, this transaxle has been underutilized by the off-road community, but that is changing as builders realize the potential of the 094 design.

SPORTSMAN Moderate Duty VW Gears
Our SPORTSMAN line of close ratio 3rd and 4th gears are manufactured
from 8620 steel, an extremely durable material that offers an excellent
compromise between price and performance. Sportsman gears are a
replacement for the now defunct GEM/Arrow brand 3rd and 4th gears. We
have reconfigured many of the old GEM tooth counts and redesigned the
gear tooth profiles for increased strength and longevity. Quality control is
absolutely top notch, and the performance you get for your dollar can’t be

NISSAN R35 GT-R
UPGRADE KIT
Heavy duty, high performance upgrade. Standard
Nissan R35 GT-Rs make approximately 480-540 HP.
Tuners have modified their cars to create as much as
1300 HP. In the standard GT-R transmission, the 1st
and 4th gears are prone to breakage. The Albins GT-R
upgrade kit is a great heavy duty solution. The Albins
kit eliminates some of the circlip type gear retainers
that are prone to failure. Ratios and toothcount are
compatible with the sensors inside the standard Nissan
R35 GT-R gearbox.
In cars over 900 HP, shaft deflection can be a major
issue. Shaft flex can break gear teeth and make it
difficult for the trans to select the next gear. In order to
combat this, Albins has modfied the backcut on the dogs
to better hold the gears in place.

The Albins Nissan R35 GT-R gear sets are ground after
heat treat and isotropically finished. They run superbly
quiet, unlike other replacement kits.

Shift Linkage Adapter Kit
For VW 094 Vanagon and Weddle HV1 Trans
The Weddle Industries 094 Shift Linkage Adapter Kit makes the late
model Vanagon transaxle a viable alternative for off-road race cars,
pre-runners, and sand rails. It is a bolt on unit that relocates the
shift shaft and points it forward on the transaxle; no modifications
to the transaxle are required.
The rotation and push/pull direction have been designed to use a
standard VW shifter in the cab (just about any aftermarket shifter
with a reverse lockout will work). The heat-treated shift shaft runs
on linear motion ball bearings in a fully sealed bearing carrier.
Attached to the shift shaft is a heat-treated, precision ball and
socket, protected by a durable rubber boot.
The result of this attention to detail is a precise, durable shifting
assembly that will continue to shift smoothly, even in the dirtiest
conditions. This linkage also works on the Weddle HV1 transaxle,
with both rear-engine and mid-engine versions available.

The stock VW Vanagon mainshaft bearing thrust plate is too soft, allowing
the outer race of the mainshaft bearing to beat its way forward into the
front housing. Weddle Industries now manufactures a heavy duty replacement, made from high quality, heat-treated steel and precision-ground to
the proper thickness.
The Weddle plate provides a much larger thrust surface than the stock
VW plate and, in combination with a remanufactured gear carrier housing
(part # 6386 or 6387), will greatly extend the life of your rebuilt transaxle. Installation requires machining of the front housing thrust surface.

VW 091/094 Locking Pinion
Bearing Retainer System
Solves a critical problem with the standard VW assembly. The original 1st gear
bearing race/nut is a single piece, held in place by the 1-2 slider hub that presses
down on top of it. With heat cycles and wear, the nut can back off causing loss of
preload on the pinion bearing. This results in premature wear in the transaxle.
How it works. The Weddle Pinion Bearing Retainer Assembly consists of a modified
1-2 slider hub, first gear bearing race, and a heavy duty retaining nut. The Weddle
Retainer Assembly incorporates an improved mechanical lock between the
retaining nut and the 1-2 hub. The heavy duty nut is fitted with 2 pins that fit in
two slots on the 1-2 hub that prevent the nut from backing off excessively, thus
maintaining proper bearing preload.

TECH TIP: All Weddle 091 and 094 gear sets are now being
manufactured using a process called “Profile Grinding”, which

What separates these gears from the previous generation of
hobbed gears is their extremely precise gear tooth geometry.
Grinding the final gear tooth form after heat treat eliminates
imperfections and/or distortions left over from the gear hobbing, machining, and heat treatment processes. The result is
a perfect tooth form every time.

For VW 094 Trans
The ultimate differential. The Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) differential is the
ultimate Vanagon differential unit. Power is transferred automatically to both wheels,
without the use of friction pads or plates used in other limited-slip designs. It acts as
an incredibly smooth limited slip differential during both on-road and off-road driving.
Locking Option: We also have a locking version of this differential that can be “locked
up” for extreme duty situations, delivering maximum drive torque to the wheels. The
locking unit utilizes the factory VW air locker controls, so you get the day to day drivability of an ATB limited slip differential, with the ability to select full locking diff performance with a knob on the dash. While it is designed to be used in a Syncro Vanagon
equipped with factory locking differential, it can be installed in a non-locker equipped
Syncro or 2WD Vanagon with additional parts. The ATB design is extremely strong and
durable and, since ATB diffs are gear operated, there are no plates or clutches that
can wear out, needing costly replacement.

VW Type 2 Mini Locker
For VW Type 2 Transaxles (002, 091, 094)
Maximize traction. In a standard “open” differential, torque is divided
equally between the wheels. If one wheel slips and spins, only a
fraction of the torque is utilized. The Mini Locker eliminates this
problem. Power will always be delivered to the wheel with the
most traction to keep you keep moving instead of getting stuck.
How it works. The Type 2 Mini Locker consists of two bi-directional
over-running dog clutches. Each clutch has a driving member (the
driver) and a driven member (the existing sidegear). Both clutches
are rotated by the differential cross shafts to form a fully locking
combination when engine torque is applied. The Mini Locker provides
differential action when cornering by allowing the rear wheels to
rotate at different speeds. Because the outside wheel is “ground
driven” faster than the inside wheel, the dog clutch disengages, allowing the outside wheel to rotate freely; power continues to be
applied to the slower (inside) wheel. In low traction situations, the
Mini Locker will always deliver power to the wheel with the most
grip, with up to 100% of the engine’s torque available to either wheel.

Improve the life and the performance of your trans. A high quality strainer filter
is absolutely mandatory if you are running an oil circulation system for your transmission, differential, or torque converter. The small bits of metal and debris that
are shed by gears, engaging dogs, and other components will quickly destroy the
pump gears (or diaphragm) if allowed to flow through the system. Our billet in-line
filter uses a pleated stainless steel strainer element to maximize surface area.
The 200-micron screen size provides a high level of protection for the pump and
cooler while allowing non-restrictive flow, even with modern high viscosity oils.
The strainer element is designed to prevent the clogging that can
sometimes occur with extreme impact additive packages common in high-end
racing oils. Our billet filters can be quickly disassembled to
access the long-life strainer element, which can be rinsed out and

Clutch Shaft Bushings
We got tired of aftermarket clutch cross shaft bushings that didn’t fit, so
we decided to make our own. These super durable, oil-impregnated bronze
bushings won’t crush or distort when used with hydraulic slave cylinders
and extreme clutch clamping pressures.
Instead of plain brass, we went with a high quality oil filled bronze
material that is self lubricating to provide a zero maintenance setup. And,
unlike plain brass bushings, our oil-impregnated bushings won’t seize up
when exposed to moisture or when the vehicle sits unused for long periods
of time.

Heavy duty diff cover upgrade. Weddle Industries now offers a high
performance differential cover for VW 091 and 094 transaxles. Unlike
the stock VW cover, which is a thin wall cast iron design, the Weddle
cover is machined from solid 4140 billet chromoly steel.
The sectional profile has been increased to maximize both strength
and stiffness. Diff cover breakage (which can occur with the stock
VW part) is entirely eliminated, and the extra stiffness provided by
the Weddle cover greatly reduces axial movement of the differential
assembly under extreme loads. This aids in keeping the ring & pinion
gear teeth in proper mesh, which in turn helps extend the life of a
highly stressed transaxle.

prone to cracking. Heavy duty Weddle Racing 091 3-4 hubs are made from our proprietary spec steel and feature rounded key slots to further help prevent cracking.

Weddle Industries now offers a heavy duty gear carrier housing for the
091 Bus transaxle. Made from A356-T6 cast aluminum, this gear carrier
is much stronger and more durable than the stock magnesium carrier.
As can be seen in the photo, we have incorporated mounting flanges into
the design of the housing. This eliminates the need for a steel sandwich
mount and saves the additional machining that would normally be required. A version without mounting flanges is also available.
When the costs of sleeving and bushing a worn out 091 gear carrier
housing are added to the difficulty of finding a good usable core, we
think you will find our heavy duty aluminum housing is a real bargain in

A note about heat build-up
Weddle 7.25” clutches are much more rugged than other manufacturers’ 7.25” racing clutches. However, the small physical
size limits the ability to absorb heat (as compared to larger
diameter clutches). A 7.25” diameter clutch in a heavy car will
require a bit of driver finesse when launching, and any attempt
at “slipping” the clutch to get out of a nasty situation (or to get
up a steep trailer ramp) will result in rapid overheating and possible damage to the clutch components. If this is not acceptable
for your application, we recommend one of our 9”, 10.4”, or 11”
diameter clutches.

Superior drivability and exceptional holding power. Weddle
Industries has developed a complete line of 9”, 10.4”, and 11”
high-performance off-road clutches that are better than anything
available before.
Today’s off-road cars have grown dramatically in size and weight,
tires are taller, engines are making more power, and suspension
can handle bigger bumps at higher speeds. As a result, off-road
clutches have to be capable of taking a serious beating. We set
out to design a completely new line of clutches with superior
holding power, rugged durability, and thermal capacity above and
beyond what was previously available.
All of our 9” and larger Weddle clutches feature a patented
centrifugal weight system, ball bearing pressure plate pivots,
nodular iron pressure plate, and a bullet proof sprung center
hub. We’ve moved weight around, improved friction materials,
and generally obsessed over every detail on these clutches to get
them just right for off-road.
After five years of hard work, we think we’ve got a really good
product. Weddle clutches have a combination of holding power
and drivability superior to any other off-road clutch available
before.

Patented Twin Plate Technology
Weddle high performance 9” and 10.4” Twin Plate clutches use
a patented spring dampened disc hub, a positive drive floater
plate, and an innovative drive post design to deliver exceptional
performance and maximum life. The twin friction discs feature
a proprietary cerametallic lining for increased holding power.
These clutches can handle huge torque levels with smooth
engagement and a reasonable pedal effort. Currently, there are
no other clutches with this level of technology available for the
off-road market. Not even close.

Why a sprung center hub?
For two reasons: 1) It greatly aids in smooth clutch engagement,
which means your car will be easier to drive. 2) The sprung hub
absorbs driveline shock, vibration, and torque spikes. This helps
protect your transmission, axles, CV joints, and other driveline
components from extreme off-road abuse.

Heavy Duty Weddle Racing
Reverse Gears
Heavy Duty Reverse Gears. Reverse gears have always been a weak point
in VW gearboxes. Because of their small size, stock VW reverse gears break
easily. Heavy Duty Weddle Racing Reverse gears are now available.
Applications: Late VW 113/002, VW 091, Mendeola MD
All Weddle Racing gears are made from a proprietary spec, fine grain
vacuum-melt steel. Each bar is ultrasound tested for internal defects prior
to machining. All Weddle Racing gears go through a special multiphase
heat-treat and cryogenic process that greatly increases tooth strength
and fatigue resistance. Finally, Weddle Racing gears are deburred and
shot-peened to combat fatigue and increase gear life.

Large Diameter Bell Housing Kit
for Mendeola S4D/S5D
Performance upgrade. Weddle Industries now stocks large diameter bell
housing kits for Mendeola S4D and S5D gearboxes. This bell housing
upgrade allows the use of larger diameter (10.4” and 11”) Weddle clutches.
Larger diameter clutches greatly increase holding power. At the same time,
they require less clamping force which results in lighter pedal effort,
smoother engagement and better drivability.

Billet Aluminum Spools
for Mendeola MD/Weddle HV Transaxles
Decrease critical rotating mass. Weddle Industries now offers 7075-T6 Billet
Aluminum Spools for Mendeola MD and Weddle HV transaxles. These lightweight
spools weigh only 7.76 pounds, almost half the weight of a standard diff. Also
available, MD/HV Mini Spools (MD-527) that install in the existing differential
housing.
Tech Tip: Heavy duty cross shafts (part numbers MD-527.1 and MD-527.2) are

Gear Carrier
High performance upgrade. An excellent quality gear carrier housing is essential
for any VW transaxle rebuild. A new housing ensures the main shaft bearing bore
and shift rail bores are in perfect condition. Weddle Industries now stocks new
factory VW aluminum B-style gear carrier housings. Aluminum housings last
longer and bores remain tighter than the standard VW magnesium housings.

MD/HV Mini Locker
Maximize traction. Unlike standard diffs that spin, the Mini Locker delivers power to the wheel with the most traction.
How it works. The Mini Locker consists of two bi-directional overrunning dog clutches. Each clutch has a driving member (the driver)
and a driven member (the existing sidegear). Both clutches are
rotated by the differential cross shafts to form a fully locking
combination when engine torque is applied. The Mini Locker provides
differential action when cornering by allowing the rear wheels to rotate at
different speeds. When the outside “ground driven” wheel rotates faster
than the inside wheel, the dog clutch disengages, allowing the outside
wheel to rotate freely; power continues to be applied to the slower (inside)
wheel.

interlock, the cables stretch and collect dirt and grime. This causes
the lockout to drag and feel sticky. The Albins Electric Reverse Lockout

Weddle Industries offers complete in-house REM ISF® processing for gears, ring & pinion sets,
CV joints, engine parts, and many other components. Developed by REM Surface Engineering,
ISF, or “Isotropic Superfinish”, is a finishing treatment for machined metal components that
eliminates the imperfections left over by the machining process. In very simplified terms, the
“peaks” left on metal parts by various manufacturing processes are removed using vibratory
equipment in conjunction with patented solutions to speed up the process. The result is a much
