Design
For about 30 years Jydepejsen* has merged
celebrated Danish design acumen with the
need for efficient home heating and the love
of fine furnishings. Efficiency has improved
by utilizing vermiculite panels over firebrick.
Mads Miltersen heads the team with expertise
in both industrial and decorative arts. He is
a champion for the “less is more” school of
contemporary home fashion. Spare lines and
gentle curves, “invisible” hinges, and artfully
sculpted soapstone.
* Jydepejsen, pronounced “U-Da-Pie-Son” comes from
Jylland, the Island in Denmark where the stoves are
made and the Danish word for stove, which is “pejsen”.
Clean Burning
The stoves are specifically designed and
engineered to burn cleanly and efficiently
consume carbon and particulates that would
otherwise “go up in smoke”. The result is a
hotter fire with very little ash. The natural
carbon dioxide neutral wood burning system gives off the same amount of CO2 as
when trees are left to decay in the forest.
Optional outside air kits are available for
most of the models.
Cool Handles and Clean Glass
Handles are positioned below and away
from the firebox so there is rarely a need to
use protective mitts. The ceramic glass window stays remarkably clear thanks to the
unique “air wash” system which forces
heated air down over the interior glass to
discourage build-up of smoke residue.
Combustion Chamber
The heart of the stove is the combustion
chamber. With its base of special cast iron,
it is able to tolerate extremely high temperatures. The sides are clad in vermiculite panels, which sustain flame impact up to 1,100º
C (2,012º F). This insulation produces
higher combustion temperature, lower emissions, and higher efficiency.
UL Approved & EPA Certified
All stoves are tested for safety and approved
to UL 1482 standards in the United States
and ULC S627 in Canada. They also meet
the Environmental Protection Agency
requirements and are EPA certified.

ATHENE/ZEUS–Olympic Inspiration
The Athene and Zeus are sophisticated and
compact. They are “just right” for small to
medium-sized areas. Standing 40” tall, the
Athene and Zeus have a unique wedge
profile with a flat back; they measure 21” at
their widest width.
This versatile shape allows them to fit as
effortlessly into corner settings as it does in
flat wall installations. The bottom panel can
be removed to create hide-away storage for
kindling, etc.

SOFTLINE – Smooth Your World
Named for its gently curved body and
pleasing proportions, the Softline provides
warmth and atmosphere as an integral part
of your home and décor.
The alcove above the firebox is a perfect
place to set a bowl of scented water or
potpourri; the storage alcove beneath is for
tools or kindling.
All the hinge hardware is hidden from view,
including those hinges on the optional
lower cabinet door.
The standard Softline comes in a choice of
gray or matte black and is 43” tall by 20”
wide (cladding adds to dimensions).
Full soapstone cladding is fabricated from
the natural soapstone mined in Finland.

Here are perfectly proportioned fireplace

long. The Trendline 1 stands about three feet
tall and measures 20” wide, so it can nestle
in just about anywhere. Standing an impressive 44 inches tall, the Trendline 3 is elegant
and understated and lends itself well to
our gallery of distinguishing options.
The Trendlines are a fine example of Danish
craftsmanship and eye for detail: door
hinges are invisible as is the chrome-finished
ash drawer tucked within; the optional
lower cabinet door conceals the storage
space without tell-tale hinges and with a
quiet, magnetic “latch”. In gray or matte
black.
A natural soapstone top plate is an option.
It’s also available clad completely in soapstone mined from the world famous Tulikivi

FINELINE — A True Classic
Such a simple and straightforward design
the Fineline is destined to become a
classic.
The Fineline is unassuming in stature – just
over 3.5 feet tall - so it works beautifully in
smaller rooms like kitchens, home offices,
and bedrooms.
All the hinges are recessed, and the storage
alcove below the firebox can be enclosed
behind an optional cabinet door with a
magnetic latch.
The Fineline soapstone model has a squared
-edge top plate with a fully clad soapstone
housing that includes the soapstone base
plateau.
Available in gray steel.

About 5’ tall, shown at top left, the Troja is
