WEEK 1: COOKIN’ IT UP!
June 13-17
Sweet and sour, sticky and smooth,
Let’s cook up some treats and get in
the groove!
We’ll stir, mix, taste, and bake,
Let’s conclude the week with PJ’s and
pancakes!
WEEK 2: THE WONDERFUL WORLD
OF COLOR!
June 20-24
Purple, Blue, red, green, or yellow.
Let’s explore all the colors of the
rainbow!
We will dress up in a different color
each day,
Black & white photos and tie-dye are
coming your way.
WEEK 3: DIGGIN’ DEEP: IT’S
DINOSAURS & FOSSILS WEEK!
June 27-July 1
Backpacks, Binoculars and fossil fun,
Let’s go a treasure hunt in the summer
sun!
We will learn about dinosaurs, read
stories, and dig,
A visit from Radical Reptiles, this week
is gonna be BIG!
WEEK 4: OOEY GOOEY SCIENCE
July 5-8* (4-day Option)
Let’s get messy… at OOEY GOOEY DAY!
With paint, ooblick, and shaving cream?
Hip hip Hooray!
The days will be filled with science,
there is so much to explore
Experiments, investigations, bubbles
and lots more!
WEEK 5: ONCE UPON THE STAGE:
July 11-15
At camp this week let’s dress up,
Let’s act, perform, and play.
Bringing fairy tales and stories to life
We’ll make costumes and take a bow
each day.
WEEK 6: MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’:
July 18-22
Music, dancing and rhythm is what this
week’s all about.
We’ll make and shake instruments, and
sing and dance and shout!
With music from around the world and
learning lots of new songs.
We will beat a drum, shake a maraca
and groove along.

WEEK 7: LITTLE ARCHITECTS:
July 25-29
Campers will build, create and construct
this week,
with Legos, wood blocks and more.
We will imagine, assemble and create
new designs,
with lots of tools to explore.
WEEK 8: FAMOUS ARTISTS:
August 1-5
There are many famous illustrators and
artists,
each day we will study a different one.
Let’s illuminate the world of art
this week of creating will be full of fun!
WEEK 9: WHO ARE THE PEOPLE IN
YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?
August 8-12
Firemen and police officers keep us safe,
the library is where we read a book.
Ice cream trucks and grocery stores
provide us with food to eat,
A tour around the synagogue… let’s go
and take a look!
WEEK 10: SEE LIFE UNDER THE SEA!
August 15-19
Whales, starfish, and dolphins are just
some of the sea-life creatures.
Each day we will explore the sea, the fish
and all their features.
Seashells and sand, and lots of water play,
Camp will wrap up in a super fun way.

Children in K-4th grade and
7th grade can exercise their
minds and bodies in nine
individually-themed weeklong camps!
Themes allow campers to
pursue areas of interest, or
jump into the adventure of
new discoveries! Either way,
they’ll be showing off their
latest creations and inventions
and sharing all they’ve
learned, not to mention, they’ll
make great friends.
WEEK 1: MAKE & BAKE
COOKING CAMP
June 13-17
Come make and bake yummy treats
in the Beth Israel Kitchen! Campers
will learn kitchen safety and proper
nutrition as they build cooking skills
with classic chef recipes. If you’re lucky
some treats will make it home!
WEEK 2: LEGO© CAMP,
PARTNERING WITH PLAY-WELL
TEKNOLOGIES
June 20-24
The Force is strong in this class. Build
complex machines and structures
based on the best designs from a
galaxy far, far away. Projects include
LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod
Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities,
settlements, and fortresses. PlayWell’s Jedi instructors reinforce key
engineering concepts such as gear
trains, worm drives, pneumatics,
eccentric motion and more as students
tap into the powerful forces of
imagination and engineering.
WEEK 3: SAN DIEGO DISCOVERY
June 27- July 1
Campers will discover San Diego every
day! With daily field trips in addition
to regular camp activities, they will
explore new places all over San Diego
with their camp friends. You never
know what the next day may bring!
WEEK 4: MAD SCIENCE: NASA,
PARTNERING WITH MAD SCIENCE
OF SAN DIEGO
July 5-8
Campers will become rocket scientists
for the week, exploring the science
involved in making their own rockets
and watch a rocket launch! They will
work together to build their own
model space stations and complete
space missions. Campers will get to
explore the solar system and take a
journey through the galaxy with take
home projects such as rockets, stereo
view, cosmic disk and more!
WEEK 5: THEATER CAMP
PARTNERING WITH SAN DIEGO
JUNIOR THEATRE
July 11-15
Campers will participate in voice
lessons and dance and acting classes
all week put on by experts at San
Diego Junior Theatre. After seeing a
play themselves, they will get to start
practicing and rehearsing for a play
that they will perform for all of their
parents on Friday! No prior acting
experience is required.
WEEK 6: SPORTS CAMP,
PARTNERING WITH LA JOLLA
OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION
July 18-22
A sports-filled week awaits your athlete.
Each day focuses on a different sport
introducing campers to a wide variety
of traditional and non-traditional
activities. Your athletes will learn basic
rules, fundamental skills and team
work needed for each sport. Camp will
provide personalized instruction and
competition time.

July 25-29

CAMP
August 1-5
Is your child always creating artistic
masterpieces? Then this camp is for
you! Campers will explore different
materials and textures through
individual and group projects. We will
be drawing and painting, as well as
using crafting and natural materials to
build and create projects.
WEEK 9: ADVENTURE CAMP
August 8-12
Campers will go on a new adventure
every day! Throughout the week, the
children will travel to different venues,
experiencing new and exciting things
with their camp friends. This week is
loaded with fun for everyone!
WEEK 9: B’NAI MITZVAH BOOT CAMP
August 8-14, Grade 7, Members only
”My B’nai Mitzvah is next year and I am
so nervous!!” Don’t be. We’ll take care
of you. This camp will give students
a jump start on the B’nai Mitzvah
training and a chance to bond with
their classmates. Campers will get their
Torah portions, learn about the prayers
and how to chant (trope). Oh, and we
will have fun activities too! The best
part is that this camp fulfills many of
the B’nai Mitzvah requirements. This
will be a fun meaningful week that will
help to replace B’nai Mitzvah jitters
with confidence and accomplishment.
As a parent I love the fact that when I bring the kids to camp, they are truly going to have FUN
and be well cared for. There is no other place I would want to send them.
