Chili con Carne
A thick chili-based meat sauce.
Chili Relleno
An oversized, 6-inch poblano pepper, generously filled
with meat or cheese. Lightly battered and fried to a
golden brown. Topped with salsa ranchera, cheese
sauce and a melted blend of cheeses. Served with sour
cream and a side of our Always-Fresh Guacamole.
Jalapeno Pepper
A mildly spicy, medium-sized variety of chili pepper.
This pepper is commonly used in Mexican cooking and
is typically eaten when deep green.

A mild, large green chili pepper, most commonly used to
make chile rellenos.
Short for “Quesadilla.”

Served in a skillet with caramelized onions and bell
peppers. Served with our Always-Fresh Guacamole

Guacamole
We make ours fresh throughout the day from
premium imported Hass Avocados! We add jalapeno
peppers, fresh cilantro, fresh finely-diced onions and
diced tomatoes. Finished with fresh lemon juice and
garlic salt.
Hass Avocados
We import all of our Hass Avocados from Mexico and
parts of South America. We make our guacamole fresh
throughout the day, using these premium, perfectly
ripe avocados.
Habanero Pepper
A very spicy variety of small chili peppers. Typically
orange in color.
A large flour tortilla, topped with melted cheeses and a
variety of additional toppings – folded over and grilled to
a golden brown.
Ranchero Sauce
A chunky tomato sauce made with diced sautéed
onions and jalapenos, fresh cilantro and a special
blend of seasonings.
Tamale
A traditional Mexican favorite, often eaten to celebrate
special occasions. We make our own “masa” (a corn-based
dough) from scratch and spread it on corn husks. We
then top the blanket of masa with a variety of fillings, roll
it and steam it. We finish it with your favorite sauce and a
blend of melted cheeses.
Tomatillo Sauce
This fresh sauce is made from tart green tomatoes, fresh
cilantro, diced jalapeno and poblano peppers, and a blend
of seasonings.
Tortilla
At the heart of Mexican cooking, these round, thin
flatbreads come in two basic varieties: flour and corn.
We serve both at Ted’s and make fresh flour tortillas
from scratch throughout the day.
