Quality Assurance Our management systems aim to exceed the requirements of the international quality assurance standard ISO 9001:2000. These management systems ensure that clients’ requirements are met and that this can be demonstrated at any point in a project. Our slipform operation has been independently accredited to the standard of ISO 9001:2000. In addition to rigorous external auditing by independent accreditation bodies, there is an on-going process of internal auditing at project and head-office level. As part of this process, we formally assess our suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure that the service they provide is also in compliance with our clients' requirements. Drainage Solutions A wide range of drainage solutions are available based on the design requirements and compliance with the relevant specification. Open systems such as Surface Water Channel providing widths ranging from 350mm to 2.0m are a frequently used detail. Closed systems such as Slot drain or Kerb & Slot are an ideal option where space is at a premium. An additional benefit in using one or a combination of our drainage solutions is a significant reduction in the number of catchpits required on a longitudinal stretch of highway. The diameter of the pipe section ranges from 250mm to 450mm based on hydrological design criteria. Britpave Britpave, the British In-Situ Concrete Paving Association is the chief promoter of concrete barrier with licence holders currently in UK, Ireland, Norway and Israel. The Barrier system has been fully tested in accordance with EN 1317 permitting it to be placed on any suitable highway environment throughout Europe.
