Windows 10 becomes very popular among the
users within a very short time, it is because
Windows 10 is packed with all the stuffs that
completely change the use of computer system.
This operating system is more attractive and easy
to operate. Microsoft try has try to made the
upgrading process very easy by letting users set
aside their free copy of Windows 10 using the app
or by downloading the ISO files to execute a clean
installation of the operating system. But, not all
the users is having a smooth upgrade experience.
After launching of Windows 10, many users have been reporting about some issues and different errors while

Quick Fixes for Windows 10 Problems
Issue 1: Waiting for the Windows 10 upgrade Notification
There are lots of users that has Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 PC and still waiting for your free
upgrade then you are at right place, apply the below given steps to fix this issue.
Open Windows Update  click on the Check for updates and see if the Upgrade to Windows
10 message appears.
Otherwise, you can also upgrade your Windows system to Windows 10 manually, to do this task you
need to download Windows 10 manually and burn installation DVD and use it to upgrade your
PC/laptop.
Issue 2: Windows 10 has installed, but I can’t activate it
Windows 10 activated by Microsoft automatically once it installed, but sometime this process gets
unable to execute. Assuming you are using Windows 10 legitimately i.e. you upgraded from an
activated version of Window 7 or 8, or installed it with a non-pirated product key then this is almost
certainly just a temporary glitch.
You can also use Windows 10 without activating it, but you won’t be able to personalize it by
changing the Desktop theme, colors and so on.
Wait for one or two days, if

Issue 3: No inbox folders in the Mail app in Windows 10
The Windows 10 Mail app will appear in separate
inbox folders for every mail account that you set
up, but it won’t display any subfolders within them
and it also doesn’t allow you to create any. So still
if you have subfolders set up in your webmail
account then they won’t show in Mail and you’ll
need to see them using your web browser.
To fix this issue you should make sure that your
Window s10 is updated, this issue is fixed by the
Microsoft.
Issue 4: Unable to play DVDs in Windows 10
Microsoft launched Windows 10 without a DVD player application, and problem rise when you used
your PC or laptop to watch movies using DVD.

Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8 with Windows Media Center or

Issue 7: Internet Explorer bookmarks not found after Windows 10 upgrade
In Windows 10 the new default browser is Edge, you can easily import your Internet Explorer bookmarks
into Edge. Choose Import favourites from the Favourites tab from the Hub menu.
Issue 8: My files are opening in the wrong apps
You can easily fix this issue, right-click on the
file that isn’t opening correctly, choose Open
with -> select another app from the menu that
appears and choose the app that you want to use.
Tick the box for Always use this app before
clicking OK to make this change permanent.
Issue 9: What to do with Wi-Fi Sense
Windows 10 has a new feature called WiFi Sense that
automatically shares your internet connection via Wi-Fi. It
only works for contacts, not complete strangers, and is
allegedly protected but if you’d rather not use it, disable it
easily.
Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet and click Manage
Wi-Fi settingsin the right of the window. Untick all of the
boxes under For networks I select, share them with my to
disable Wi-Fi sense.
Issue 10: The Application Was Unable To Start Correctly (0xc0000018)
If you are getting this error message then you need to solve the issue as soon as possible. First try
uninstalling/reinstalling the application, make sure that the app is updated, you must try restating your PC
frequently.
If you still unable to fix this issue then try launching registry editor and navigating to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows. Find APPINIT_DLLS and delete everything in it, or
failing that the entire key.

Issue 10: The Application Was Unable To Start Correctly (0xc0000018)
If you are getting this error message then you need to solve the issue as
soon as possible. First try uninstalling/reinstalling the application, make
sure that the app is updated, you must try restating your PC frequently.
If you still unable to fix this issue then try launching registry editor and
navigating to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows.
Find
APPINIT_DLLS and delete everything in it, or failing that the entire
key.
Issue 11: NTFS_File_System Error on Windows 10
NTFS_File_System blue screen error is one of the irritating and dangerous
Windows 10 error, this error affect the entire session of computer system. But
don’t worry because this issue can be easily fixed.
Fix Boot from another Hard Drive to Remove the NTFS_File_System
Error
Step 1: Disconnect the Power Source off the computer.
Step 2: Add new hard drive to the computer
Step 3: Connect power cable to the computer and start it.
Step 4: Keep pressing the F2 key or Esc or F12 to open the BIOS settings
Window.
Step 5: Find out the boot options and select the recently added hard drive as
the preferred boot device.
Step 6: Save the settings and Restart PC.
Step 7: Once the system boot normally, open the command prompt and type
chkdsk /f c:
This command will scan your PC’s hard drive for any issue.

Issue 12: “Something Went Wrong” Error While Syncing Mail App in
Windows 10
If you are unable to sync Mail App in Windows 10 and getting "Something went wrong'' error while
syncing Mail App then apply the below given tricks to fix this issue:

Fix – Via Mail App Settings
Step 1: First of all open Mail app and go to the Settings icon.
Step 2: Accounts pane  select your mail account.

Step 3: After it, click on the Change mailbox sync settings option in Outlook/Live/Hotmail account
settings screen.
Step 4: Fix the Download email from to any time. Click Done, then Save.
After finishing the above given steps, log out and close the Mail app, then sign-in again and try to sync
messages.

Some common Issues of DisplayLink in Windows 10 with Solution
Problem 1 – Blue Screen of Death Error when trying to
use DisplayLink
According to users they are getting Blue Screen of Death
errors when trying to use DisplayLink or connecting two or
more monitors on their PCs. Apply the below given solution
to get rid of this issue :
Step 1: You need to download a professional System Driver Updater Tool.
Step 2: Install it and execute it to update all of the outdated or error full system drivers.
Step 3: This app will automatically update the entire outdated or error full system driver.
Step 4: Close the entire window and reboot your computer.
Problem 2 – Issues with DL-3xxx and DL-5xxx USB docking stations
Some issues may also occur with DL-3xxx and DL-5xxx USB docking stations. This is because of
using a mismatched USB cable. In case you are using USB 3.0 cable then you may face some audio
issue. This problem generally affects the playback devices, such as headsets, speakers and monitors that
are connected to docking station.
So it is recommended to use an USB 2.0 cable to connect the docking station to your PC, or you can
also use USB 2.0 port.
Problem 3 – Unable to change the display mode or resolution of external monitor
It is one of the irritating issue, because of this users get unable to alter the display mode or resolution of
their external monitor via the DisplayLink icon menu. In order to change the display resolution of
external monitor n Windows 10 you should use Display Settings from Windows 10.

How to deal with Malicious Infection on Windows 10?
#1: Log-in Windows 10 in Safe Mode
When you boot Windows 10 in safe mode then Windows loads with minimal system drivers
that make it difficult to load malevolent files at boot.
Step 1: Press Windows Key + R to open Windows run dialogue box, in the box type
“MSCONFIG” and hit ENTER.

Step 2: Click on the Boot tab and check-up “Safe boot” checkbox. Choose “Minimal”
option, and then click Apply then OK.

A message will appear to restart your computer. Go ahead, and after it Windows boots in to
safe mode.
# 2: Now Delete Malicious Files
After successfully logged into Safe Mode, now you have to clean up temporary folders where
the malicious files are generally stored.
Step 1: Double click on This PC icon.
Step 2: Delete all the files, sub folders from the below given locations:




C:\Windows\Donwloaded Program Files
C:\Windows\Offline Web Pages
C:\Windows\SchCache
C:\Windows\Temp
Open up Run dialog again, type “AppData” and click OK.
#3: Remove all the contents from following location:

..\Local\Temp
You can also use Disk Clean-Up tool in Windows by right clicking system partition, selecting
Properties and then choosing “Disk CleanUp” present under General tab.

#4: Delete Malicious Boot Entries
Open RegEdit with the help of Run dialog box, type regedit in the run box and hit Enter.
After opening registry Database now delete random, doubtful strings from below sub keys.





# 5: Delete Malevolent Data from Registry
A computer virus or malware generally recreates its copies on numerous locations, this is
done with the help of Windows Registry. So by removing them from Windows registry
database you can prevent them from recreating copies of malicious data.
Note: It is suggested to avoid editing registry database manually.
