The peace in times of stress is an example. The month’s money of one who has a fixed income and yet it seems to go further. God is so subtle. I don’t hear bells, fireworks or drums; still my prayers are answered. Don’t try to outdo God! He will not allow it. He comes back with more help than before.” Pastors Comment: “Last week’s passage from St. Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians is a reminder of who we are as Church and as members of the living Body of Christ. Paul challenges us to recognize our individual identity and how important we are to each other. Our life in Christ moves and has being when we make this connection. Our purpose is fulfilled when we make this connection. Thank you to those who have seized this opportunity. You who have given and received.” Scripture: “For where your treasure is, there also your heart will be.” Matthew 6:21 INCOME AND EXPENSES Church, Parish Center, Rectory And Education-Recreation Center INCOME: Mass Collections On-line giving OLF Athletic Program Donation All other income EXPENSES: Medical Diocesan School Assessment Priest Pension All other Expenses Total Expenses Expenses over Income $ 3,823 372 2,032 1,355 2,052 $ 9,634 $ 5191 5,800 1,442 755 $13,188 ($ 3,554) INCOME AND EXPENSES Church Renovation INCOME: Church & Chapel Donations Capital Campaign Money Received Total Income $ $ $ TBD TBD TBD EXPENSES: Church & Chapel Expense Renovation $ Total Expenses $ 0.00 0.00 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN PAYMENTS AND DONATIONS: Please us the blue envelope marked “Capital Campaign” to make payments on pledges and to make new or additional donations toward the renovation of the Church. PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE For the safety of our workers, volunteers and the general public, and in compliance with the law, all scheduled activities in the church, parish center, cafeteria, auditorium/gym and elsewhere on our property will be cancelled during a declared state of emergency for our area. If there is no declared state of emergency, but outdoor conditions are such that they pose a grave danger to public safety, then common sense and good judgment may require that we cancel activities and that individuals refrain from traveling outdoors. Please know that no one is ever obliged to attend Mass under circumstances that might be hazardous to themselves or to others. NO VEHICLES We ask that no one please leave their vehicle(s) in our parking lot during snow storms. The presence of vehicles makes it very difficult for us to properly clear the parking lot of snow. Thank you for your cooperation. PRAYERFUL SILENCE We ask that everyone please maintain, at all times, an atmosphere of prayerful silence in our church as a courtesy to those who wish to pray and out of reverence for the Blessed Sacrament present in the tabernacle. Once the renovation of our church is completed, individuals will be able to socialize in the narthex and parish meeting room. However, until then, please refrain from talking inside the church. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. PARISH TRUCK Our parish is in need of a small truck. Our current Pickup has outlived its years and is in danger of dying at any moment. It is vital that we maintain a parish truck in order to pick up, drop off and transport items to, from and within our property. If anyone knows where we can purchase a used Pickup in good condition, please contact the parish office. Your help is very much appreciated. Jacqueline Pirante-Fuchs E.M. The world was a playground for Mickey, a naive Irish American kid bored with his life. His father served in World War II, his brother was a Marine in Vietnam; now it was his turn. His 365 days in Vietnam builds in torment until an attack on a bunker complex in Cambodia. Wounded, his friend captured, he becomes a tormented survivor knowing he is always just a heartbeat from death.
