Images 1 & 2
Divide the hair at the round of the head. Cut the hair to finger length using
vertical sections leaving out a
disconnected
panel at the front hairline.
When the area behind the ear is reached, start to pivot into the back area.
Image 3
Graduate from the nape, taking horizontal sections, building a weight line above
the occipital bone.
Images 4 & 5
Scissor over comb the previously cut hair into the weight line at the back of
the shape to achieve a stronger step
Images 6 & 7
Divide the hair from just above the round of the head and under the line of
weight at the back. Scissor over comb this
section ensuring that the scissor
over comb blends into the hair at the nape.
Images 8 - 11 The top bowl shape connects at the back weight line and continues in a gentle
curved asymmetric line around the face.

Images 1 & 2
Divide the hair from ear to ear over the top of the head. Graduate from
behind the ear working around the head shape
Image 3
Here the angle of the graduation through the back area can be clearly seen.
Images 4 & 5
From the round of the head divide the hair and cut a slightly rounded line
up into the face. Note that the front and the
back shapes are disconnected.
Image 6
Remove the internal weight from the side sections by elevating the hair
straight up and cutting a horizontal line.
Image 7
Cut a rounded fringe with the points of the scissors that sits on the bridge of
the nose and works back to the side
hairline. This accentuates the
cheekbones.
Image 8
The top section is rounded through so that the hair has no parting.

Prior to coloring, pre-lighten the whole head using Blondor cream and 6% Welloxon
perfect pastel.
Image 1
The whole head is toned using 45mls of 10|0 pastel blonde with 10mls of 9|38
very light gold pearl blonde, 5mls of 10|8 lightest pearl blonde and 60mls of
Welloxon perfect pastel.
Images 2,3&4
Using the fringe as a guide, place a large curved section through
one side of the head as shown. Color this section
using 15mls of 10|8 lightest
pearl blonde with 15mls of 0|88 blue special mix, 5mls of 2|0 natural black and
32mls of Welloxon perfect pastel.

Using the fringe as a guide, divide a rectangular section approximately 3cms in from
the front hairline. Note that this section runs
asymmetrically across the head.
Image 2
A curved section, approximately 1cm in thickness, is divided from the front hairline.
Color this section using 15mls of 10|1 lightest ash blonde with 3mls of 2|0 natural black
and 17mls of Welloxon perfect pastel.
Image 3
The next section sits directly above the first. This section is approximately 0.5 cm in
thickness. Color using 10mls of 2|0 natural black with 5mls of 0|88 blue special mix and 15mls
of Welloxon perfect pastel.
