LOCATION
The majestic “Godshuis” is a surprising building established in a 19th century
monastery, ideally located in the picturesque village of Sint-Laureins (Eeklo),
close to the historical towns of Ghent and Bruges, and a stone’s throw away
from Knokke-le-Zoute, a haven of shopping by the seaside. The hotel is in
close proximity to the 4-lane N49 road that links Antwerp to Knokke. SintLaureins is a charming little village, surrounded by magnificent forests,
with a vast network of beautiful cycling tracks, close to the border with
the Netherlands towards Zeeland. Many options for walks, horse riding and
playing golf are available to you... In short, a region that offers everything you
need for relaxing! The building has been completely renovated with respect
for the authentic elements and features a parking lot that can accommodate
more than 350 cars.

Le majestueux “Godshuis” est un étonnant bâtiment établi dans un monastère
du 19ième siècle, idéalement situé dans le village pittoresque de SintLaureins (Eeklo) à proximité des villes historiques de Gand et Bruges, à deux
pas de Knokke-le-Zoute, paradis du shopping au bord de la mer. L’Hôtel est
situé à proximité immédiate de la route à 4 bandes N49 qui relie Anvers à
Knokke. Sint-Laureins est un charmant petit village entouré de magnifiques
forêts et doté d’un vaste réseau de superbes pistes cyclables, proche de la
frontière néerlandaise en direction de la Zélande. De nombreuses possibilités
de randonnées, d’équitation et de golf s’offrent à vous... Bref, une région qui
offre tout le nécessaire pour la détente! Le bâtiment a été rénové entièrement
en respectant les éléments authentiques et est pourvu d’un parking pour plus
de 350 voitures.

Located in the quiet nature of the Meetjesland, you can unwind in the
luxurious rooms of the 4-star hotel. The monumental Godshuis breathes
history. With its courtyards and the free use of the wellness facilities (Turkish
bath and sauna) you’ll relax completely. Breakfast consists of an extensive
buffet featuring as many artisanal and regional products as possible.

The bistro often features regional dishes and seasonal products such as
eel and mussels, stew with local beer, ... Sente bistro offers an honest and
decent cuisine with an afternoon specialty of “appelbol” baked apple.
At lunchtime you can taste delicious quick snacks from our light lunch menu
or you can choose our monthly 3-course set menu. In the evening you can
expect a more extensive dinner menu.

Le bistro offre souvent des plats régionaux et produits de saison tels que
l’anguille et les moules, le pot au feu à la bière locale, ... Le bistro Sente offre
une cuisine honnête et correcte, avec comme spécialité pendant l’après-midi
le chausson à la pomme “appelbol”.
Le midi vous pouvez déguster un des snacks délicieux et rapides de la carte
déjeuner ou choisir le menu du mois à trois plats. Le soir vous découvrirez
une carte diner plus étendue.

The catacombs of the Godshuis don’t only shelter the Sente • Bistro Bar but
also Sentes Wellness. Appropriate music, scents and the atmosphere of the
authentic, thick monastery walls will surely put you in a divine mood. The
beautiful wellness centre features 2 saunas, a Turkish bath (steam room) and
offers Terraké treatments, massages, Turkish bath rituals, facial treatments,
solarium, wraps, ... . Hotel guests can make free daily use of the sauna and
Turkish bath, between 1 pm and 7 pm. If you prefer to have the wellness centre
to yourself, you can rent it for private use.

Les catacombes du Godshuis n’abritent pas seulement le Sente • Bistro Bar,
mais également le Sentes Wellness. Vous êtes assurés d’être d’une humeur
divine grâce à la musique et au parfum harmonieux, et à l’atmosphère qui
émane des murs épais et authentiques du monastère. Le superbe centre
wellness est équipé de 2 saunas, d’un hammam (bain vapeur) et offre des
traitement Terraké, massages, rituels hammam, soins du visage, solarium,
enveloppements... . Les clients de l’hôtel peuvent faire gratuitement usage du
sauna et du hammam tous les jours de 13h à 19h. Si vous préférez le wellness
rien que pour vous, vous pouvez également le louer pour usage privé.

Le Godshuis dispose de 5 espaces de réunion full option qui sont modulables, pourvus d’un réseau
wifi gratuit et qui de plus ont une vue des jardins intérieurs du vieux monastère. Cet environnement
inspirant, ainsi que l’équipe du Godshuis, feront en sorte que votre réunion, session de formation,
congrès, etc... soit un succès.
Vous pouvez également faire usage des salles historiques, de la crypte ou du Sente Bistro Bar dans
les catacombes du Godshuis pour vous faire dorloter pendant votre pause culinaire.
Si vous souhaitez coupler une activité (team building) à votre meeting, nous vous proposerons avec
plaisirs quelques arrangements.
MEETINGS
The Godshuis has 5 full option meeting rooms that are modular, equipped with free wifi and also
look out over the courtyards of the old monastery. With this inspiring environment the Godshuis
team will make sure that your meeting, training session, congress, etc. ... is a success.
Apart from the meeting rooms, you can also make use of the historical rooms and the crypt or the
Sente Bistro Bar in the catacombs of the Godshuis to let yourself be treated during your culinary
break.
If you wish to combine your meeting with a (teambuilding) activity, we will be happy to suggest
