JumpStart products use a precision-molded double shell
(one nested inside the other) for both wrap-around control
and extra heel stabilization. JumpStart products are intended
for patients with pronation, supination, inconsistent ankle
modulation, excessive plantarflexion – toe
walking, and knee hyperextension.

stands on our sizing jig or casting
footplates so that the clinician can
determine length and width.

another size. Function and freedom from defects are
unconditionally guaranteed for 90 days from date of
purchase. To return or exchange a Fast Fit product,
simply fill out the Return and Exchange form on the back

Fitting
Once your Fast Fit item arrives, check (with patient in
weight-bearing) for:
• Sufficient metatarsal head width.
• Adequate length to allow room for growth.
Wear
Break-in is straightforward.
• Since your Fast Fit product is designed to support different mobility from what your child is used to, initial awkwardness is normal.
• Start wearing the product about an hour per day, adding an hour at a time.
• After each wearing period, remove brace and check the skin. Any redness should fade after about 20 minutes. If you have concerns, feel free to call Technical Support.

Socks and Shoes
Although we offer Knit-Rite® SmartKnit® socks, your
child can wear any smooth cotton blend socks with
Fast Fit products. You should be able to use shoes your
child already has. Other recommended brands are
Hatchbacks (www.hatchbacksfootwear.com), Keeping
Pace (www.keepingpace.com) and Dinosoles® (www.
dinosoles.com). Vans, Skechers, New Balance, and
Crocs also offer compatible styles. Shoes from your
local department store are also often functionally
appropriate, stylish, and considerably less expensive.
All of the products are meant to be worn with socks
and shoes, never by themselves. Wearing these
products without socks or shoes voids the warranty.
