Passage of the summer course
«Toxicology and Environmental Health» in summer school at the University of Utrecht, Utrecht, The
Netherlands.
The master 2 courses Faculty of Biology, Department of Microbiology Bolekbayeva Ayaulym
Bakythanovna from 16 to 27 August last the course «Toxicology and Environmental Health» in summer school at
the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. During the course listened to lectures on toxicology, epidemiology,
familiarized with the laboratory of the University, has mastered the new techniques and worked on a case-study on
«Effect of pesticides on the environment». After completing this course receive a certificate. Payment for the course,
round trip and stay for 10 days are paid for by al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
PhD student N.S.Akimbekov had a scientific training at Aahen University of Applied Sciences (Germany)
According to the program of preparation PhD students Akimbekov N.S., 3rd course PhD student
(microbiology department) passed scientific training at Aahen University of Applied Sciences in
«Cellular biophysics, Microbiology, Medical and Molecular biology» laboratories. Together with the
foreign supervisor Prof. G.Artmann the most part of research work on a theme of the dissertation in
the field of biotechnology has been done. During the scientific training period different techniques, as
work with aortic endothelial, intestine epithelial, dermal cell cultures and adhesive, permeability
methods of lactobacillus, sorption of lipopolysaccharide etc. have been mastered.
