Flexport tires are designed with holes molded through the outer ring of the tire’s
sidewalls to improve tire flexibility and stability. The increased tire flexibility allows
the tires to handle all surfaces with a greatly improved ride over that of other solid
tires, resulting in increased operator comfort, reduced operator fatigue and reduced
machine stress.
Unlike other solid tires, Flexport tires can be used on unimproved surfaces as well as
severe applications. Regardless of the application, the suppleness of Flexport tires
absorbs much of the shock that the standard solid tire passes on to the operator
and machine.

Remanufactured Flexport™ Tires
Cat® Remanufactured Flexport tires are available in both the 59 x 9 x 20.5 and
62 x 9 x 23.5 tire sizes for small wheel loaders, medium wheel loaders, and
integrated tool carriers. Each Remanufactured assembly receives 100% new
rubber – only the rim is reused. Consequently, Remanufactured solid tires
provide same-as-new service life expectancy at a reduced cost service
option. Core Refunds are given for used Flexport tires meeting the Core
Acceptance Criteria.
Core Acceptance Criteria
You will receive:
• Acceptable Caterpillar part number.
• Assembly does not contain dirt.
Full Core Refund
• Bolt holes not elongated, cracked or excessive wear.
• No non-operational damage (fire, rust, pitting, mishandling damage, or torch damage).
• Not an acceptable Caterpillar part number.
• Excessive rust or dirt.
No Core Refund
• Elongated, cracked or excessive wear to bolt holes.
• Non-operational damage such as fire, mishandling, or torch damage.

Caterpillar logistics system and can
be ordered using your standard parts
ordering routine. Cat Flexport tires
will be shipped following standard
dealer shipping instructions.

Flexport design advantages
The Flexport elliptical design is far superior to the TY Cushion round design. When placed
under a load, the elliptical design will compress into a round shape, which reduces stress
points and reduces the likelihood of cracking or chunking. In comparison, the TY Cushion
round design, under pressure, compresses into a flat shape underneath the load. This flat
shape creates stress points on the sides of the hole, which can lead to cracking and chunking.
