Helly Hansen Workwear has been protecting professionals for more
than 138 years in the harshest conditions of the world.
Our new Arctic series is the ultimate in both comfort and protection –
the best of two worlds! We wanted to create the best winter gear in the
Workwear industry, and here is the result.
Newly developed durable but soft outer fabric combined with premium
Primaloft insulation makes you comfortable and ready to perform in the
cold. Primaloft is lighter than existing insulation material – that gives us
the opportunity to use more insulation – meaning we give you warmer
but lighter products.
We use our Helly Tech Performance membrane in our Arctic series –
this will keep you dry under all conditions. Fully taped seams makes
these waterproof – guaranteed.

Mjølnir is developed for the modern tradesman seeking both the ultimate

We gathered fashion inspiration from jeans, sports and traditional Workwear – and this is the results. A perfect modern fit, trendy details and

Our pants are built with our flexible waist for perfect fit and extra movement. The pants are 4 cm tighter from the knee and down to create a

European Directive (89/686/eec) is the applicable law
for the European member states on the issue of personal protective equipment (PPE). European Directive

and manufacturing that PPE is used to make working

assessment of health and safety at work. Employers

Helly Hansen Workwear Lifejackets 150 N and 275 N
These lifejackets provide face-up flotation with levels of
support sufficient for various open and rough waters uses.
Life jackets have a buoyancy distribution sufficient to turn
most users, when tested on users wearing swimming
costumes according to ISO 12402, to a position where the
mouth has a defined freeboard above water’s surface even
when the user is unconscious.
ISO 12402 give guidance on the design and application
of personal flotation devices (PFD) for persons engaged
in activities, whether in relation to their work or their
leisure, in or near water. PFDs manufactured selected
and maintained to this standard should give a reasonable
assurance of safety from drowning to a person who is
immersed in water.
MEMBER
PFDs may also be affected by other conditions of use,
such as chemical exposure and welding, and may require
additional protection. The user has to be assured that the
PFD will not be adversely affected.
The relative amount of required inspection and maintenance
is a factor of paramount importance in the choice and
application of specific PFDs. Its potential length of service
often depends on the conditions of use and storage, which
are the responsibility of the owner, user and /or employer.
Helly Hansen Work Wear sells PFDs that do not require
intervention (automatically operating PFDs). They are
suited to activities where persons are likely to enter the
water unexpectedly, whereas PFDs requiring intervention
e.g. manually inflated PFDs are only suitable for use if the
user believes there will be sufficient time to produce full
buoyancy, or help is close at hand. In every circumstance,
the user should ensure that the operation of the PFD is
suited to the specific application. The conformity of a PFD
to the part of ISO 12402 does not imply that it’s suited for all
circumstances.
Under certain conditions such as rough water and waves,
the use of watertight and multilayer clothing, which provide
intentionally or otherwise additional buoyancy, or the use
of equipment with additional weight such as tool belts will
likely alter the performance of the PFD. Users, owners and
employers need to ensure that this is taken into account
when selecting a PFD. Similarly, PFDs may not perform as
well in extremes of temperatures, although fully approved.

Helly Hansen has teamed up with Richard Gillett and his crew aboard
the Midnight Shadow for the popular TV show Cold Water Cowboys.
Richard Gillett is a giant of a man with the personality to match.
Having worked since the age of 13, his hands scarred and fingers that
can barely straighten from all the hauling, he went out on his own at
20 and by 25 he’d lost his first boat to an iceberg the size of a house…
a fifth generation fisherman of Twillingate, Newfoundland, and there’s
nowhere else on earth he’d rather be – he is rooted to the place.
Working in one of the harshest environments on earth, dealing with
extreme temperature changes, precipitation and moody oceans,
it’s only natural that the Midnight Shadow crew is outfitted in Helly
Hansen – “It keeps us dry, warm and comfortable so we can focus on
the job at hand and come home to our loved ones after a long stretch
of fishing” says Richard.

GENERAL SALES, DELIVERY AND PAYMENT TERMS
1.PARTIES
The catalogue is a sales tool operated by Helly Hansen UK Ltd,
company number 791202, whose registered address is at Unit
G3(A), Birkbeck House, Colliers Way, Phoenix Park, Nottingham,
NG8 6AT, England. The sellers VAT number is 196 4251 42. The
buyer is the company stated as buyer in the Order (“the buyer”).
The seller supplies the products listed in the catalogue.
These conditions of sales together with the Order and the Order
confirmation constitute the total contractual basis for the purchase (the “agreement”).
Returns that are not agreed upon by Helly Hansen will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender’s expense. Returns will
under no circumstances be approved for sales campaign items or
items that have been taken out of production.
Agreed and approved returns, that involve damaged packaging
or where additional work is required at our ware house to put the
product(s) back in its original condition, will be charged to the
customer with 20% deduction of the credit note value.
3. PAYMENT TERMS.
For late payments, according to contract, a 1.5% per month
interest rate is applied.
7. CLAIMS
If at any time after the delivery the Product is found to be defective, the buyer must, reasonable time after the Buyer became
aware of the defect, contact your Area Sales manager or local
Customer Operations. This must be done no later than 1 month
after the defect was discovered by the Buyer. Helly Hansen has
the right to replace or repair the product. We will adhere to
warranty legislation guided by each jurisdiction. Helly Hansen’s
financial liability for any product defects is always limited to the
products invoiced value and does not include any damage and/
or loss caused by the use or processing of the delivered goods or
other indirect loss.
4. PRE ORDERS
All pre orders need to be placed before the official dead line to
be valid. Pre orders for next season are binding and cannot be
cancelled by customer.
8.LOGO
We are able provide application of logo. Prices are upon request.
Please contact your local customer operation office for more
information.
5. ENTERING INTO THE AGREEMENT
For pre-orders the seller will send an Order Acknowledgement
electronically. At this phase, all orders are subject to acceptance
by the seller. The Order Acknowledgement is not the acceptance of the Order. For both pre-orders and ASAP orders seller
accepts the order through an emailed Order Confirmation. The
buyer shall review the Order Confirmation for any non-compliance with the Order both in terms of numbers, type of Product,
price etc. Any unaccepted discrepancy between the order and the
order confirmation shall be reported to the seller no later than
three (3) business days after receipt. After the above three (3)
business days, the Order Confirmation is final and binding.
9.RESERVATIONS
We reserve the right for any typographical errors, errors in the
article information, sold-out situation and deviation in the color
reproduction of the publication for technical reasons.
6.RETURNS
Confirmed customer orders are considered binding and HH does
not accept returns for non-defective goods. The customer is
responsible for checking the goods immediately upon receipt and
items can only be returned by an agreement with HH Area Sales
Manager or your local Customer operations. The only occasion
in which we accept returns, is due to an error caused by Helly
Hansen. Upon Helly Hansen’s discretional review, the return will
then be credited to the full amount, and the freight will be paid
by Helly Hansen. In a case of a potential return as above, all the
requirements below should be completed within eight (8) days
from receiving the goods;
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND JURISDICTION
The parties shall try to settle any disputes amicably. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the matter shall be subject to
the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
2.PRICES
All prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT. We
reserve the right to make price changes.
Our prices are based on current raw material and production
costs. We reserve the right to change our prices due to factors
beyond our control.

Note that a product may be temporarily out of stock, in which situation you will be informed about the first possible delivery date.
Helly Hansen works with product development on a continuous
product basis and we reserve the right to make improvements to
the garment as well as changes to the product range. We reserve
the right to change product specifications.
This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out or in
connection with the subject matter of this Agreement will be
governed by the laws of Norway.
